I'd have rather had a New Gods movie

I call shenanigans...the studio made the decision to not move forward with New Gods and just used the Snyder Cut as their convenient excuse.

They still are moving forward with multiple Batman projects, multiple Superman projects, Aquaman, Wonder Woman and the Flash stuff yet Darkseid being in The Snyder Cut was what shut down New Gods?
They just didn't want to make the movie once the changes at the top started happening at WB.

She's mostly just the executive producer on Queen Sugar.
She directed a couple episodes in the first season and she's written only like 5 or 6 episodes over the show's entire run. I don't think she wrote/directed any episodes in seasons 3 and 4.

Queen Sugar made me give her the side eye too

She said it was important for her to have woman directors

If it was just Black women I'd understand but she had non-Black women directing on there too

But even aside from that I think she's a corny director, taking advantage of Black issues

I had no real love for Snyder either
I liked MoS even though it had its faults
BvS didn't really understand the characters
