go to an apartment locator and tell them what you are looking for price wise and for places with move in specials. apartment locators are freeBeen in Austin since Tuesday. Annnnnddd I'm getting depressed af looking at these apartments & such. Was told if I don't have at least 1k to spare for rent, its not a good idea to live in Austin.
Went to see a realtor and told him about Hyde Park. Nothing come up. Craigslist ain't showing nothing either. Do I have to drive around that area to see something?
I declined Home Depot offer, went with another tech company. Offered more pay & better benefits. They are located near the airport which is the South right?
I found this apartment in San Marcos for $775. They pay internet/cable while I pay rent, electric & water. I front $90 upfront (half off deposit & application fee & waived admin fee) then $775 when moving in.
Only problem is the unit will be available August 1.
And they are an hour from work.
But I feel like this is a easy stealbest I've heard since apartment hunting.
Looking into doing an extended stay at a hotel till then .

Friendswood. I took up an Airbnb in lieu of a hotel. It was nice
I'll go back when I settle in. Found out one of my girls stay in Conroe.

So, I was just informed that I will be working at a different location. This the address that was given to me: 13011 McCallen Pass, Austin, TX 78753.
From what Google maps showing me, that location doesn't look like the South.
that's north like i said 3 pages ago, you should look at apts in the parmer ln, braker, techridge/ metric area. those streets are the main streets in that zipcode

There's no name, just enter "Southeast Austin" in your search. Anywhere is good accept Dove Springs, that's the hood I grew up in. Everything else southeast or south is good
