I got an offer from a tech company called Trusource located in South Austin. Very close to the airport. I'm debating about taking them over Home Depot simply because the pay is more, health insurance is attractive & they are very much on the networking side of IT which is what I've been in school studying for anyways, Austin is too expensive for me so I was thinking of looking at places outside Austin. Something less than an hour away from both Trusource and Home Depot.
I settled on San Marcos. It's 35 mins from Trusource and 45 from Home Depot. Any insight about San Marcos?
I understand I live near all the wealthy people, but do yall see Teslas like everyday?
I see Teslas out here like they are Civics. Before I moved here I had never even seen a Tesla in person

Pretty sure @GreenGhxst told me that there's a HBCU downtown though.
Yeah, that's been my experience, but it seemed like ol boy was trying to imply something different... Looking at his rep tho, he's probably trolling.
Hotel in Town Lake, walked over to Rainey as suggested by @AdvantageSouthpaw . Nice lil trail by the river. Pulled up on some food trucks, had some samosas and a fajita. .
I can see the appeal a lil bit...but black folks are sparse as fuuck....
They got moneyJust recently heard about that shooting. 6th has been getting more wild each year.
I tend to hang on West 6th, Rainey, and The Domain now.
There's lots of gorgeous women here. Why limit to cougars?
Hyde Park is the best to live in central Austin imo, White folks taken over the east side, so thats a bust anyway ....many houses and privately owned apt complexes with smaller management over in the Hyde Park area, so you can find cheaper rent if you look. There are literally hundreds of these 10 to 15 unit apts over here in this area. I pay 800 for a 1 br and i'm still close to everything, could ride a bike downtown in 5 mins, i can go to the east side easily from dean keaton and 2 mins away from Mount Bonnell... life is good over here. I have not had a job in 3 years, i put my apt on air bnb a few times a month to pay my rent and use the money from my business to travel n shyt.
Native Austin night here. Move to the south side breh, better affordability and you get more for your money. Also you don't want to live close to where you'll be working assuming you'll be working in the data center Home Depot has here
