Bumped into alot of people who came from California. But I believe every state has a situation like that. When I was living in Atlanta and told people I'm from Miami, their first response is "everyone from FL moves here." I think the same scenario applies to Texans when someone comes from Cali.

I live in a predominantly black city and before that it was diverse.

I literally can't do it.
I told my mom over and over about Austin being predominantly white but she's set on it. fukk it. Lol

Just wish it was more diverse. I've told some white people this and surprisingly many agree.

But most people tend to gloss over Austin's flaws and say "oh it's awesome". People think because it's "liberal" it's a Utopia or some shyt. Many white people gloss over the flaws with their own whiteness.

I was in Austin for 11 days and saw two other black people besides my homeboy. I was even in the "hood".. Airport avenue or whatever. Still a nice city that feels safe as fukk.. I didn't even mind walking around without my pistol. Sixth Street/Dirty Sixth is a shyt show though. I like East Austin though.

The room I rented out on Airbnb nice as shyt. Asked the old lady if she does monthly- she does. $500 a month with private bathroom, walk-in closet & washer & dryer. She blacked out the next 2 months off the calendar since I paid her 2 months in advance. I'm gonna camp here for awhile

Hit the east side or pflugerville if you want to know where nikkas at. Or hit riverside (south Austin)

Yeah, my family migrated from SoFla to Austin when I was young. We left because my dad had a job out East. I'm trying to move back out that way to Austin. I still know some Haitians out there.
