atheism only touts a disbelief in deities. nothing more, nothing less. you are adding stuff that is not atheist.

The rationality of the disbelief in a creator is the core tenant of atheism, as atheist cite, in their view, the lack of empirical evidence (whatever that means) is the rationallity that drives the idea that there is no such thing as a creator of life or the cosmos as a whole.

Now back to the topic.

If you want to discuss that atheist view life and death symbolically and not scientifically, then it is easy to see the flaw in that type of belief as symbolism is logical comparison without any empirical truth to the proposed parallel.

actually, there are no tenets of atheism. it is merely a lack of belief in deities. full stop. why a person is an atheist can differ from one to the other.

Just throw my corpse in the bushes... if my family and friends wanna get together n do shyt thats cool I guess... I think cremation and burying in caskets is unfair to the earth as our bodies need to be consumed by the earth to keep the cycle going the same way it does when animals die. Its extremely selfish to lock the energy in a casket.

Caskets are placed in burial vaults usually made of concrete... sometimes metal or plastic. Then a lid is placed on top.

Concrete and plastic aren't biodegradable either I've read. I have a strong inclination to believe metal isn't either.
