Do situps, stay away from carb intensive or fatty cards e.g. bread, beer, white pasta, dough/pizza etc. Stick to clean carbs - sweet potato, oats, brown rice. That and do core strengthening exercises, crunches and situps are crucial - do a couple hundred every other day to keep the core tight. Tight core is the cornerstone of other exercises

can you recommend any machines to use in the gym also?

What are your thoughts on cardio for fat loss btw?
Keep it to a minimum. Some people do zero cardio with a clean diet and achieve the results they want. I personally do low intensity cardio while cutting, but more recently I've switched to just clean eating and compound lifting or supersets as a substitute.

try to gravitate from machines to free weights, better range of motion and you have less ability to cheat. hit up www.muscleandstrength.com for hundreds of workout plans. They even show videos of how to perform the exercise correctly, one of the best resources on the net.

Word eh. I even checked my BMI today and I made a mistake I'm actually 14% body fat :wtf:

In terms of cardio I'm not doing no Usain Bolt super intense shyt but I make sure I get my good cardio sessions with my workout twice a week, 30 minutes each.

I'm 5'9 and about 150.

I'm not super worried about weight or getting bigger, per se, but I want to gain some muscle tone...want to avoid gaining fat tho. What would you recommend?

Is eating breakfast that big of a deal? I usually skip it due to lack of time and not being hungry in the morning. How may calories should I eat a die, and is it really necessary to count? How often do I need to hit the gym, and how much cardio should I be doing? I get kind of lazy about it at times but I don't suppose going once a week is enough to see results. :guilty:

Just ate a cheat meal

Looked at my scale and I gained 10-13 pounds, wtf is this my nikkas? That's in less than one day

i went from 185 to 200 on the scale in about a day :to:

How long will this retention go away? i'm going to a pool party next weekend, i have to punish myself in the gym. I threw my diet in the bushes this weekend smh

I check today on a digital scale and said 195 :wtf:

I just wanna stay at 200 :to:

@Kasino416 I have a very active job. I actually have a fitbit wristband that tracks how many steps and miles I do over the course of my shift and I do anywhere from 8 miles to 15 miles per shift per day along with physical work with lifting... if i'm doing that, do I really need to do cardio outside of my work or should I focus on just lifting?

Ive Been Doing EGOFIT Bootcamp At Cross Fit For 3 Weeks Now, Crazy How Fast My Arms Have Become More Vascular From Just 3 Short Weeks, My Arms, Legs, Chest And Shoulders Feel And Look Alot Better

Have This Lil Gut Thats Taking Forever To Get Rid Of Man shyt Sucks, I Eat Right, Drink Nothing But Water, Workout 5 Days A Week And Run, I Know Theres So Such Thing As Spot Reduction So I Basically Have To Just Keep Pushing And Doing What Im Doing But Its A Frustrating Thing!
