I`ve been in DR/Colombia/Brazil for the last 3 months, so taking a break for a few weeks and just identifying places I can easily get to from São Paulo or Bogota. Lima is a no brainer so was thinking about 3 weeks there then head to Colombia after. Prob use the weekends to Explore another city in Peru.

Panama just screams old retired gringos to me but I don't want to cheat myself.
The only place that’s filled with retired American & Canadian cacs is David, Boquete which is on the Costa Rican border and riviera coast along the pacific. Bocas del toro is full of Eurocac backpackers, beautiful tho, some the of best beaches I’ve been to. Stay clear of those areas if you want an authentic experience.

Have you been to Ecuador? I was down there in January 2022, had no issues

I was close to Ecuador in Jan but I didn't cross the border as I see the stuff with that cats running up in the News Station and heard some drug lord had the gangs running crazy

@Noriega

How do you move in these countries compared to the dudes that are getting marked out
Firstly, I am not a passport bro. I genuinely enjoy traveling and experiencing the culture of the country. That being said…when I was single, best believe I was getting up in the chicas down there. Never dealt with pros or escorts, never paid a cent. I know barely enough Spanish to scrape by when I’m moving around in the streets.

I’ve befriended locals in Panama & Colombia cuz I go down there 2-3x a year. Men & women.

Cats that offer to send their cousin to pick me up from the airport when I land and make sure I’m straight til I’m settled

Shortys who invite me over cuz abuelita cooking dinner then asking why am I paying for an Airbnb when I could’ve just stayed in they aunt guest room :manny:

Panama is a great country if you’re just getting into Latin America travel. Safe, accessible, slightly Americanized, good infrastructure, US dollar economy, large expat community

Peru has hands down the best cuisine I’ve had in Latin America. Flavors & dishes that i haven’t had anywhere but in Peru. it was turn key with 2 employees, established clientele…4 years of operation. Brought in 1300ish after expenditures. They had contracts with private schools and mechanic shops to handle their uniforms and shyt

Nah it was in Parque Leferve. Right on a side street off Via Espana. I don’t have a remote job so ain’t no way I’d be able to oversee day to day operations. And my Spanish isn’t the best. I supposed I could’ve hired one of my cousins down there to look after it but :manny:
Damn........damn that's a nice piece of real estate....you might have to give your cousin a job and equity to motivate him to make it work.

Latinos love to pick up from the airport hahaha. My friend who runs a large ad agency in Panama would still find time to pick me up from the airport

I went to a US citizen meet up in Panama and all most all of them were on the dating apps and being tricks while complaining about it. For Panama just go as your self and find your lane. If you like chess they got cafes and bars for chess players, you like dancing take lessons, cooking classes, sports events, etc. The guys who are marks tend to advertise themselves as food for scammers and gold diggers.

And that’s why I have zero sympathy when these dudes go down there and get robbed, drugged, finessed. They knew the risks and still chose to treat a 3rd world country like Disneyland.

Like you said there are plenty of spaces to mingle with local women.

Is all of Latin America strung out on coke?

Are the Black communities separate enclave’s, and are they conscious people?

Is not speaking Spanish a red flag?

Are the females clean?

The vast majority of coke is sent abroad.

Kinda even though in the cites Black people live whereever they want in the countryside they definitely live in their own worlds

1) not remotely. Maybe in certain circles there is a lot of coke use but vast majority of Latin America in all social circles, heavy substance abuse is non existent (outside of alcohol)
2) Depends on country to country.
3) Yes but learn phrases, greetings,.and simple questions. Don't be like every US citizen and expect to be catered. honestly that is why you get made as food and get bad customer service. Majority of middle to be higher income Latinos will speak some level of English since it is the language of business. Knowing phrases will open them up to talking to you in English. If I go to NYC not speaking 1 word of English I'll also feel that US people are hostile. Know basic Spanish please...

4) Latinos especially that have a proper home will be very clean. Appearances and basic hygiene are extremely important to Latinos. We are a communal society so at least being half way presentable and groomed will make you approachable. Even in the hoods, people will do there best to smell nice and well groomed. Also healthcare in Latin America is historically limited so being clean is a way to keep yourself healthy. There is a reason why white people in the US don't wash their hands....they know if something happens this country will bend its back over to cure them

I’ve never been into a nasty house in any crib in Panama, Peru, Colombia. Even in the hoods they keep the cribs immaculate. Lot of families have housekeepers that come clean a few days a week

Also yes I never been with a Latina who smelled bad. They take their beauty and hygiene serious. I had this girl shower at my Airbnb before & after we smashed. Redid her hair and makeup too
