:ld: no one in here is claiming anything amazing. if someone came in here saying they benched 405 x 5 then i might have to call ducktales. but besides that, considering this is the sports section i don't really have a problem believing this shyt

so basically off yaself
Its not ducktales for the op but it is ducktales to expect that everyone could do it, it depends on your body type, how often you hit the gym, shiit like that

not really, highschool kids can bench 225.

if you are consistant any grown man should be able to do that in a year without looking like a bodybuilder.

if you havent lifted in awhile or ever you will see huge increases in like a month lol

Personally I use 90 lb dumbbells on the flat bench for reps. My barbell bench is probably in the 230-250 lbs range.

For the average man though, AT LEAST 130 lbs. Anything below that is :flabbynsick:.

And I'm not talking none of that halfway to your chest, bouncing up and down, over in a second bullshyt.. You slowly lower the weight until it touches your chest and push it back up. A little bounce on the bottom 1/4 of the movement is fair game.

For me to consider someone IN GOOD SHAPE, they must bench at least 200 lbs. For me to consider someone STRONG, they must bench over 300 lbs.

I been scared as fukk to even bench in the last two years. I remember being half drunk at a party where we was all seeing what we could bench. Everybody else was bouncing it back up. I was letting it sit on my chest for a few seconds then pushing it back up. Did 285 pretty easy then somebody was saying I should try to bounce it up. Went to do 315 and tried to bounce it and just felt like a tear or a rip in the shoulder area. Ain't tried to max out since.

I dont know I seen scrawny dudes move up quickly but some still couldnt get to 225 unless they add some peds to their workout regimen
