I guess it just comes down to personal preference. But I simply likke Bones Music as a whole better than Wu tang. I respect the Wu's contribution to hip hop. Those dudes ae legendary ( a few wack dudes in the group0 but they left a stamp on hip hop. But back in the day, I just supported BTNH a lot more. I have every BTNH release as well as most solo albums. The music is smoother, sometimes more laid back, I love the harmonizing Bone comes with and the speed in which they rap CAN NOT and COULD nNOT be done by any member in wu tang.

Bone thugs have set so many trends in hip hop and have proved to be influential. Withouth Bone thugs, there would probly be no Nelly, T-pain, Future. Bone thugs bodied 2 of hip hops greates MCs (pac & Big) on their own tracks. FACT!

I'm not comin in here shyttin on the Wu at all. I just think that Overall bone made better music. I think that wu tang thrives in many aspect because of the "cult/weirdo/nerd/geek" following they have. Some of the wu tang production and lyrics were God awful to me.
Some people simply supported it just because they were the wu. (Cappadonna, U god, Killa Priest, ODB and GZA were wack to me) just my opinion.

Don't get me wrong I own several wu albums, so I understand the direction of their musik. But I would choose E.1999 over 36 chambers. I would choose art of war over forever.

See, this is one of the few objective posts in this whole thread. Breh justs like Bone better. It is what it is. But to totally dismiss Wu's status in the game and the huge impact they had in the game is what relegated this thread into a troll thread. One thing though...Ya'll cats gotta stop with this whole nerd/weirdo/geek shyt you talking about. Every hip hop artist/act that's big has cac fan base filled with wiggers, nerds, geeks. Don't act like when Bone sold all those records in the 90's it was just hood nikkas. They have their fair share of weirdo fans too. Look at Wacky D. Stop it. fukk what there fanbase looks like. Wu is probably the hoodest set of nikkas that had commercial success.

I agree Wutang wuz popular mayor Kwame Kilpatrick status:pachaha:,meanwhile Bone wuz presidental:obama:....Californias delegates at the time outranked NY's delecates and Cali wuz ridin with bone, just like now the southern states deligates outrank NY and Cali and so forth...and better than Twista at what?catalogue wise its not even close they better...far as rapping Twista is better than anybody in either group so that's irrelevant.

rapping? better than Ghost? fukk No. better than Lay from 94-2000 no, better than Bizzy No, better than Gza No. better than Rae hell NO. ans krayzie style carries him enough to not give a fukk about rapping.

there impact remains in tact, when nikkas like drake kendrick and Asap flow and style of harmonizing is straight from the bone book it says something. and a lot of R&B folks bit the style too. nikkas dont want to admit it but ALOT of nikkas took from their style and not one person can flip it like bone can. Wu was a big influence in the eastcoast but bone was more spread out at the time. shyt they came out of nowhere and stood toe to toe with the big nikkas from 94-2000. They dropped when Illmatic, RD, and the West where major players and remained atop of their game even when the south was starting to creep up. Give bone their luv for doing it and doing it different.

Quote one post I made where I shytted on Bone. I agree with almost everything in your post. Except for your insinuation that Wu were local, which is one of the biggest bullshyt claims the trolls are making in this thread. Ask Dogg Pound, 2Pac, Young Dro and Jay Electronica if they think Wu were local :heh:

@Big Mel is right. shyt sounds cheap. :yeshrug:

And I literally looked at the back of the cd and went down the list. I eschewed the intro. That is the crux of Bone goof-dom.

On the flip, the only lackluster song on 36 chambers IMO is 7th Chamber and they made up for by ending the album with the fantastic remix.

But play 7th Chamber next to that Bone bullshyt and tell me which one sounds stronger.

I told him to read thru this thread and he thinks some of these nikkas in here are just joking. He can't name more than 3 Bone Thugs songs....he barely knows who them nikkas are...:pachaha:

The beat is kinda simple, but it's not cheesy. Plus, the movie samples and the skit at the beginning make up for the simplicity.

This post is why you can't talk music with a jock. He likes the "smoother" harmonies. He's an easy listening type. What would we do without Nelly, T Pain & Future!!???? Egad!

BIG had the best verse on Notorious Thugs. FACT. FACT TO END ALL FACTS IN FACT.

Thug Love isn't even that good a song.

Gza is wack. You nailed it.

Lists the classics, breh. I'll list as many Wu classics, as a GROUP. Remember, they had, AND HAVE RECENT, solo albums FILLED with GROUP songs that are beloved by cats that don't even necessarily bump Wu like that. Want me to list them? :mjpls:

When I give you basically the same list that's already been posted in this thread will your response be to list random songs wutang fans know that ain't classic at all cuz we've done that already:heh:.."bu bu but anonomys nikkas love this trust me:youngsabo:"...there's nothing u can list that I would accept as a classic,I don't agree with sum of those Bone songs either that have been listed bcuz only bone fans see them as classic...Bone obviously has more songs known by name that are of high quality that fall in the classic category....u called Bone stichk rap I knew them fake props y'all wuz given earlier wuz just to appear to be unbias....u got nikkas rappin about swords and kung fu shyt how is that less "scthick" then Bone however u spell that shyt lol...if Bone wuz schtickk so wuz Wu,u knockin Bone cuz they hadan original rap style?

Let's take the songs people who are not fans of either group would at least know by name

Wutang ClanAint Nuthin To Fuk Wit
Killer Bees/triumph
Method Man
Cream
Portect Ya Neck

All songs you should know by name not neccesarily word for word outside of the hooks on most of em

Thuggish Ruggish Bone
Fo The Luv Of Money
Crossroads
1st Of The Month
If I could Teach The World
Look Into My Eyes
Thug Luv
Notorious Thugs

You should know all these by name, first 4 u better know the damn hooks, and chances are u might not know all the damn words but u for sure know the how to mimick the flow and the melody of they verses:laff:...u better know those classic sections of Crossroads....just take these songs to cut out all the unbiasness you'll never agree on the songs we call classics even tho we at least got numbers behind us:rudy: and we won't agree on those random shyts u call classics just cuz u like it.....I listed nuthin but the undeniables....now the impact of these songs I think ull agree bone wins by a landslide victory, these bone songs at least 4 of em still get played on the radio....played for so long if the average person could rap that fast they'd be able to recite the words.:blessed:...Crossroads is the greatest dead homies song ever period it is looked at as king of the crop, its to death what dear mama is for mothers day........First Of The Month gave folks on welfare a sense of pride we had no business having, that book of foodstamps wuz gettin slammed down on the counter now at the grocery store "money is no object:youngsabo:"....the impact of notorious thugs,u got people who cite it as one of bigges best verses ever, not that I believe that:comeon:....the impact of thug luv classic Pac verse, classic Bizzy verse, classic beat fueled the rumors and had people listenin to it jut to see if they could hear "he's alive he's alive" in there lol...the words "were not against rap, were not against rappers, but we are against those thugs" lives in infamy and people will think its just a funny bone intro....You know the words to Eazy E verse on Fo Tha Luv of money and u know it...its no match my man
