You know if you work out period, you'll get those bodies easily. If you don't work out at all, you'll end up like this.

This doesn't manifest itself in practice however.

In practice, black women have some advantages in some areas, and some disadvantages in other.

Black women are less discriminated against in hiring practices

False. A Black man with a degree and qualifications as a much chance as getting hired as a Black woman. But neither of us get a fair shot. The 'discriminatory' hiring practices you are claiming have to do with Black women simply having more degrees than Black men.

The most famous recent study about being Black being a hinderance to being hired was conducted by a Black woman. She didn't have any leg up at all.

It goes without saying that the criminal justice system is by and large most discriminatory against black males....there really isn't any arguments to be made on that front.

This is absurd. Please point out to me cases in which the criminal justice system is favorable to Black women?? In the past year we've had a Black woman shot in the head for knocking on someone's door and the culprit is rumored to have a high likelihood of getting off, and a Black woman getting 20 years for firing a shot that hit no one. Again, you are speaking on Black men simply being involved in so called 'criminal behavior' more often than Black women. But when we are in the system, we fare no better.

Representations in the media...pretty much a wash in 2013.

You can at least turn on "our networks" and see Black men that look like Black men representing you. It is becoming harder and harder to see Black women darker than a paper bag and without obvious mixed ancestry representing Black women on even Black media.

For me, this shyt is all just tertiary anyways. The schism in this country is along racial lines, not gender lines, and anyone who disagrees is supporting white supremacy.

Of course. Anyone that dare call out an ism that you can't be a victim of is contributing to an ism that you are. How convenient.

If black women and black men switched places today....black women would find themselves in damn near the exact same sociopolitical situation as they have always been....oh wait, they wouldn't have to deal with hair issues...how tremendous for them....

True. Except we'd see representations of ourselves in our media, we'd have our beauty acknowledged by our counterparts, our individual struggles fought for by our counterparts instead of ridiculed and belittled....oh yeah and we'd earn more for the same work, get promoted quicker, and not be viewed as inferior because of our gender.

But other than that, that's a 100% true statement :childplease:

If they switched places with ANY other group...their situation would be tremendously better.

White Men
White Women
Asian Men
Asian Women
Hispanic Men
Hispanic Women
Black Women
Black Men

^ This is the hierarchy in America, and you're worried about what fukking black men are doing, when we should be the ones working together.

Right. Every reputable study on economics and social standing says Black women are at the bottom but I'll let you tell it, just so you don't have to acknowledge sexism against Black women.

All this yapping ain't about nothing. No matter the gender it's hard to be black in this world. Truth to tell, You'd be lying you're asses off if you think black males do not get treated worser though.

Well based on the direction this thread is going.

"Black women are the mules of the world." Zora Neale Hurston told no lies.It was this way back then & it's still this way today.Nobody trying to hear that though.

How are they "the Mules" of all things?
