This! When I was told about the Moorish empire in school and how they conquered parts of Europe, I was led to believe they were Arabs. Also my mom told me numerous times that when they lived in Europe, the picture of the Madonna is always black with child, even in Rome. they covered them in my history course in college but the images they showed were white washed.. I was wondering if I was learning about the same moors I previously heard about.. my professor(a white lady) said that they were arab
