Speaking for Igbos, our culture creates incentives to go into business and academia.

In Nigeria, we have business mentorships for youth starting at age 13; we have an indigenous loan system and love education.

In my family and extended family there are lawyers, doctors, accountants, business owners and we were only middle class in Nigeria.

But in the West, school is a joke but anything is easier than living in the Devil’s Kingdom - Nigeria.

People in the West are complacent.

Nonsense. White people dont have a monopoly on evil. Igbos were nearly genocided by the British back hausa, fulani, and youroba forces. If black people commit genocide, it doesn't make it any less heinous than when a white person does it.

Again, black americans are not the only marginalized group on earth. Plenty of peoples that have had serious tribulations during their existence. The goal now should be to work together and build until our communities on the level of our peers, not fighting and bullshyt.
