1. You guys are allowed to foster your own little economic hubs, thus having more funds than ADOS for schooling. There is no Nigerian equivalent to Tulsa; Rosewood, Wilmington, or Seneca Village. Plus, there are benefits that were designed for ADOS but go to you and others(AA; United Negro College Fund, etc). Also, there are college scholarships exclusively for immigrants.

2. No you cannot criticize whatever you want, if you don’t have enough skin in the game. I went to South Africa recently, and I would have no right to chastise the natives.

Hell, even the other Africans who live in SA(Zims; Ghanaians, Nigerians, etc) couldn’t step to someone who is Zulu on some “damn I’m straight, why y’all nikkas ain’t good :dahell:”. He/she would she get thrown out the room, because they don’t know what that Zulu went through.

So you think ambition and hard work are not factors in Igbo success in America?

Yesterday, your brethren on the Coli were waxing lyrical about the Igbo system of monarchy, but I didn’t say they couldn’t criticize. You should learn to take constructive criticism.

I must say

Speaking to my friends who live in Canada they perceive the U.S. as a very racist and al most unliveable country for minorities. They see all the news from the US and the American movies about racism and they believe the shyt is literally hapenning everywhere and everyday.
WHich it is according to some.:manny:

Things that my canadian friends in Canada asked me while i was up there..VERBATIM:
  • You were in the Army right? Is it true that they only send the black soldiers to war first so that if someone's going to die quick it's usually the blacks?
  • Is it true that if you are black the police does not need a warrant to search you or your car for drugs?
  • I saw the "When they see us" documentary. Oh my god this system is so horrible. Is it like that everywhere and every day in the US? How can you live there?
  • Is it true that the black US population has shrunk by 10% since Trump became president and the government is covering it all up?
Truth is... you wanna say YES to all these things but it's so complicated to explain the inner workings of America that it would involve a long conversation to explain and I be up there trying to chill and get my dikk sucked. :pachaha:

Trump doesn’t criticize the West. So, your claim is deeply flawed.

Trump is viewed as a racist. Switch “west” with “black people” (given the demo of said forum where this statement was made) & it’s the exact same “racist/right wing” rhetoric.

I’m sure that you used your context clues to understand my response but you are conveniently acting obtuse now.

Well, I could say the same for non-African Americans - but I don't and wouldn't. I don't know what you hold in high-esteem -- and would't make a statement saying I do - based off interactions.

You act like we have no Aframs in those positions -- and we don't have any value other than music. Hip-hop at that.

I didn’t even mention hip hop. But now we’re on the subject, it’s bad for your people.

You are correct. You didn't -- but I do know that many think AA youth finds entertainers -- especially rappers "esteemed." Hence, why I mentioned it.

And I agree. I don't really listen to it anymore. And trying to make sure my nieces and nephews don't either.

So you’re saying if one were to change the entire context and meaning of what I’m saying, it is Trump like?

:ohhh:

If you think African Americans is synonymous with the West
:unimpressed:

I sure there are successful Igbos who work hard and have ambition. But let’s not sit here and say, hard work and ambition are the reasons why Igbos/Africans as a whole are well off and the lack of it is why ADOS are fukked up.
