Well, I"m not "fat." But, I have had an eating disorder off and on all my life -- which I mentor other young black girls and boys for.
I have talked about it many times here and in The Gym. Which my "fat" self is pictured.

In these immigration and diaspora war threads, I'm on the side of the truth. If somebody is telling the truth, I have to accept it and I'm going to challenge things that aren't true.
As part of immigrant groups, it's very easy for us to see and call out untruths said about Black foreigners. But I think the tendency of some of us is to ignore that AAs are reacting to untruths being lobbied at them.
When I see Black folks pinpointing abuse directed at them, yet ignoring abuse directed at others......I see that the blinders are on.
I haven't read what you two are disputing in this thread, and I ignore and avoid most of the diaspora war threads so I don't know the greater context of your disagreement, but I've had nothing but respectful debates and interactions with xoxodede.
