Exactly. My qualifications put me in the crosshairs with other intellectuals. Not some immigrants jumping over a damn fence who barely speaks English.
I'm not saying everybody has to have it like me or be as educated or well rounded like me but if your competition is illegal imigrants, the issue is much bigger than that.
The bolded is an elitist POV. Many of these black doctors, engineers & successful businessmen were afforded better opportunities by their blue collar parents.
For instance, my mom/dad are blue collar/clerical workers but they have two college grads. My brother & I intend to provide better opportunities for our future kids. So that being said, this is a ladder type process, where each generation gets a better financial foundation in life.
I’m not about to look down on other ADOS for being blue collar b/c that’s my foundation. I’m not going to ignore how illegal immigration stagnates blue collar wages b/c I work a white collar job. ADOS are Americans & they deserve the right to build their foundation
before any illegal immigrant.
