Apple needs to come up with something unique imo. For me, I was always jealous of their picture quality, but thanks to in-house talent, Google has the best camera software and for those that can sideload an app, their camera software is available to many mid/upper range Android phones nowadays.

Outside of that, all the new stuff on the horizon (Android included) seems kinda meh. As a result, price is the only differentiator and Android wins that battle consistently.

They are too cheap to innovate once they seen them large profits years ago. They are the perfect coproration business wise I mean business 101 their model is fukking A plus however as competition grew their ideas didn't.

The IPad is beautiful but it is the same shyt just rebranded different and consumers are aware now.

That's the problem. Nothing is next. Cell phones have peaked. There's nothing they can really add to them anymore. The real problem is the types of activities people do on cell phones don't really require anything more powerful than an iPhone 6S. It's like they keep making more advanced phones but people don't really need them to browse Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube or snap a few pics or listen to Spotify.

I said it in another thread and was scoffed at but it's a wrap for cell phones. Especially now that they aren't subsidized by the carriers. Apple will have to transition to something else.

holographic 3d interfaces and projected video calls... thats the only thing I can think of that will put the phone over the top and I think samsung got the patents for that...

Battery life of old school blackberries with the current power is the next step. Unbreakable and scratch proof glass somehwere down the line. Bluetooth getting to the point where even hifi dacs aren't that different in quality. Also lensless cameras would solve this whole notch shyt.

I just purchased a note 9 and iPhone XS max to basically see which one I would stick with...The XS max felt to similar to my 7+ and the screen on the Note just overpowered the XS max...Apple really needs to do something different this small incremental upgrade crap is getting old I'm going to test these phones 2 more days but right now I'm leaning towards the note.

Because the future isn't phones it's wearable tech and ar shyt where you can take a hologram of a screen and blow it up to any size at any place with power greater than we are capable right now. But for now the things I mentioned would be game changers in the current space we're in.
