Yeah, the way I know she was telling the truth was she said it when I was running a lot (we did a half-marathon together the year before we got engaged) and had lost a lot of weight. A couple months after our engagement, I'd been going down to Redondo Beach and putting in 4-5 miles on my break each day, and she was like, "I don't like you when you get too skinny, I like when you're big and have muscles." It really surprised me cause my muscles show more when I cut weight, but she liked the feel of the strength and size more than the look.
