AOC asked her followers who voted for both her and Trump why they did it? The responses are interesting to say the least.

nobody looked at kamala and saw "most powerful person on earth". plain and simple

I remember when Gavin debated DeSantis and a lot of Trump sycophants were calling him "handsome Gavin" and shytting on DeSantis.

He might have some sort of weird crossover appeal that most Dem strategists wouldn't expect.
I was saying for most of the year that I thought he was the best choice.

If the Dems were smart and wanted a woman president that badly they would of been started grooming AOC for the job... instead they have ostracized her.
She's too weak willed and shown it more than once publicly.

Pelosi punking her out on live television and her crying after the fact doomed whatever presidential aspirations she could have.

Trump has bravado and charisma like a rockstar or celebrity that a lot of average joes like even though Trump isn’t really built like that for real.

He’s a spoiled rich boy that comes from money and has always had money, but to someone that doesn’t read between the lines well, he’s doing something.

He’s a real life caricature of what they want to be. Think Stone Cold in wrestling, Sylvester Stallone in movies, Muhammad Ali in boxing, and Bruce Lee in martial arts.

Trump got that same mainstream appeal which Kamala doesn’t have and a lot of people will vote for him based on that. Not all his supporters are low information though, some are cacs with money that want to protect their wallet and interests but vote for him just like the poor and low information cacs.

:camby:Hillary lost cause the electoral college told the American people fyck your vote. She won the popular vote meaning American was ready for a female President and they didn't even like her. Stop with that folks don't want a female president nonsense.
This is a great point. Like majority of the country voted for her.

Dems are dedicated to finger pointing, bashing and blaming others for running a shytty candidate instead of having a plan since 2020. A little self reflection will go far unless you guys just don't want to see
What this shows is that a far left progressive can win
Too bad dems are going to go further right and make more would be dem voters even more apathetic without gaining a smidgen of conservative support.

Your post is 99% spot on. But let's not shy away and say protect "interest". The interest is white supremacy for the CACS. Closeness to whiteness for the others who voted for him. That's like calling the stories he tells as alternative facts, no he is straight up lying. Just say it.

It is a bit of an irresponsible question.

There's no way of vetting the people who voted. It just gives Trump supporters a platform to white wash their decision making.

The fact of the matter is that if they're for the working man and against corruption, Trump isn't someone they should vote for in a million years.

Then why did the GOP do poorly in 2022 when the economy was much worse than now?
honestly, i think it was because voters knew that we were coming out of covid, and that biden had JUST taken office, and a couple years wasn't enough time to judge him on

after a full 4 years, they told him nah, you didn't get it done. time for you and harris to bounce. plus, biden totally betrayed the country by lying about being a one term president, and then the biden/harris team covering up his condition until that disastrous debate

it's pretty hard for me to act like the dems deserved this election, and were robbed :yeshrug:

we should have run Newsom/Whitmer :yeshrug:

Newsom has that playboy swag that Obama, Clinton, JFK had. he would have done well against Trump, he clearly does better with male voters than Kamala. and we could have just sent Whitmer around PA, WI, and MI, talking to white women about abortion

naming Kamala was an awful fukking decision. clearly :mjlol:

I disagree about the first part because gas is pretty cheap now and inflation has cooled off a lot.

I agree with the second because the whole situation was pretty chaotic and left Harris with just a few months to campaign.

housing hasn't, at all. and apparently groceries haven't (although i don't notice that, so i think that's just people bytching. groceries are not that bad right now.)

either way, biden/harris was thoroughly rejected. we didn't even win the popular vote :mjlol:

I have to imagine Newsom does well against Vance, especially if Trump's next term is chaotic.

Only problem is, Newsom is governor of a state with high taxes, high cost of living, high visible homelessness, and various unpopular progressive policies. So he would be targeted a lot for this.
