AOC asked her followers who voted for both her and Trump why they did it? The responses are interesting to say the least.

Trump is the perfect "Rorschach candidate." People see what they want to see in him. All of his policies are harmful to the working class. I hate how his perception is more influential than the actual impact of his policies.
Same way he said he knew nothing about Project 2025 and then people believed him :dead:

Trump has a cult following. Some people borderline worship him. Kamala has got nothing remotely like that. She won 0 states in the primary when she ran for president. She may have a more impressive political resume but her likability was extremely lacking.
Obama has a cult following. How is it any different. Every party has partisans. As black people we all know mom or grandma has an Obama shrine. Are they also cultists?

A lot of the "groceries are expensive!" sentiment is pushed by right wing millionaire podcasters/influencers who buy luxury groceries and intentionally lie to their audiences

As for housing ; Walz was on the ticket and his state has tackled the housing issue successfully. Republicans are generally NIMBYs and block new housing development other than suburban tract housing.

:gucci: NO nikka GROCERIES
ARE DEFINITELY EXPENSIVE.

THIS ISNT A RIGHT WING TALKING POINT

People are falling all over themselves when the simple answer is that folks just don't want a female president. Clinton got hit with the same bull...
Bingo.

And they'll regret it in 2 years.....

Watch the Dems go ham during midterms when Trump and Elon sell all attractive white/Asian/Latina women to wrinkly old white men with $$$.

All those answers are false.

The truth is white men work 1/2 as hard but get 10x the credit they deserve.

Black men are pragmatic. We just want the best person. White, Latino and Muslim men would rather follow an incompetent male general over a competent female general. It's basically like a poor man's version of Jerry Jones. Their ego >>>>>>> common sense

Some black men are on that same shyt, too. I have come across way too many brothas that were riding for Trump based off some false sense of masculinity that Trump presented

The Truth
Bro listen to how they talk 'the Republicans do very well with the UNEDUCATED'. As if nobody who is educated is a Republican, there are plenty who are educated. They don’t realize they come off like pretentious a$$holes saying shyt like that while they champion nonsense that makes no sense in real time. It's like who are they to lecture anyone about anything.
I guess youre talking about me and I’m guessing youre a part of those who voted for him.

Youre partly right. There are Republicans with an education. Most of the idiot Republicans on TV have an “education”

Having an education doesn’t always make you smart nor does it always overcome motives. I said Trump did well with the uneducated… THAT IS A FACTUAL STATEMENT.

I didn’t just pull that out my ass, I saw the polling data. Low, uneducated white people voted for him the most. Next was low educated latinos and then low educated everyone else.

I never claimed educated people didn’t vote for him. Most of the educated ones who voted for him, voted because they have their own ulterior motives… and I do not have an issue with that. They probably voted for him because they know who he really is and how they think he will help them specifically. That happens in any election.

My point is that there was a substantial amout of “uneducated” people that voted for Trump… so why is it a shock that he’s doing what he said he was going to do and shut down the DoE.
