That's what we were having that convo last week or so about salaries. Also, London is an insanely expensive city to live in at a high level. It's wild. It's like NYC and LA with a euro prestige plus Emirates feel.

Yas, Rob, Harper had to be like in the 100-150k range. Probably I underwrote Eric, but he's at like 500? Someone like Adler a million and up.

Do third year employees make 250k? That doesn't seem right to me, if you aren't like that Ali guy with his accounts.
As someone that works in that Industry, in London - Yas, Rob and Harper are 100% on more than 100-150k. There are back and middle office roles that pay that much. They are actually wealth generating

Its funny that SweetPea is what Yaz really is like sexually, but also a lot more competent than Yaz at her job. :russ:

She low-key looked so disappointed at Yas at her "it's above our pay grade" response to her theory, like "damn bih u really just are a pretty airhead" type ish lol.

Her OnlyClients don't deserve her. Rishi didn't deserve her :wow:

Entry level Trade Support / Trade Analysts at a top firm will be taking home up to 80k and then bonuses based on their individual performance and the performance of the firm.

Those that have been in the role for a few years and developed their own client list and are actually generating money for the bank like we can see Rob, Yas, Harper etc all doing will be on a base of upto130k - that's before you include Bonuses (which are significant) and commission depending on whether they are Flow or Money Market Traders.

With Yas, factor in she is multilingual, nepotism like getting promotions simply because of her Dad etc and the facts she already has directs reporting into her - I'd say deffo on at least 150k before bonus, no idea for Harper based on her new role, Rob had actual clients we saw him with and was trusted with the Lumi deal so prob not on as much as Yas but again before bonus probably about 130k.

Like I said there are back and middle office managers who's roles are ensuring the processes and systems that they use are all fit for purpose that take home 120k

damn this ep feel like Uncut Gems

Might have been the best episode of the series.

I bet this was the most proud Indian brehs been all year about pop culture shyt. They finally got a guy carrying the torch.
:mjlol::wow:

I’m halfway thru. So this fool wins all that money and decides to get a fukking table :deadrose:

I’m scared to see what happens next

He's hedonistic, hilarious and got white women falling for him. Rishi face is gonna be all over merchandise like Che Guevara.

What a wild episode for Rishi :wow:. Think he might have a bit of a gambling addiction :jbhmm: :mjlol:

I understand little of what they actually do at Pierpoint, but all the highs and lows of finance must be a gift and a curse for his condition. Holding your newborn while taking a piss and looking at porn is nasty work :picard:

He had his desk mate stressing coming to work :bryan:

At least he got the dog back in the end, before continuing the cycle.

Catching up on the show and this shyt is wild as fukk. Might be the GOAT episode of the series this far. Rishi Is a madman!!

i really thought he was about to commit that....

preh was crashing out :picard::picard::picard:

This was honestly one of the greatest “filler” episodes in TV history.

This season is clearly about Lumi, but they threw this in for some character development. It wasn’t needed, but I’m sure something in here will be a bridge to the last 4 episodes of the season.

REALLY well done.

HBO programming is truly 🤌🏾

Aight. Enjoy the holiday weekend y’all

My heart was beating thinking someone was gonna snatch the bag in the club. They might as well had after seeing him blow it afterwards :dead:

Even the cashier was looking at him like :scust:

hey Mo Selah as Rishi runs up on him covered in blood

The "trimming the hedges" foreshadowing a little heavy handed but nice touch

sometimes I'm scared to come to work.....that poor dude

mental health?!

she looks like the kind of thick c*nt who swallows her mouth wash

Sucks cock like a veal calf....how does a veal calf suck cock....

Loved how so many of Rishi's references are so dated, he's witty as fukk, but when he says things like "you're like the Stasi" and call of the "gendrame" he sounds so old to those 20 somethings LOL -but that's really the whole episodes theme right there. Aging.

.....that's a thing with aging. One of my boys would always make 90's movies references around like 25 year old women and I would clown him.

His whole convo with Eric was quotes" "you've lost the dressing room" "you traded your talented protege for a straight skirt who brightens your mornings" "if you didn't play power games with your whole team"

that was brutal.

When Eric said "get security" I was cracking up, and then how he waved them away with both hands.

lots of quotes. can see where people will say this is revolutionary in it's criticism of "toxic masculinity" and can see how others won't like that, but think the show did it masterfully, as to simply examine an issue and how it presents itself, without being overly preachy or over the top, even if there is some overreach for sure. The thing is the show and it's writing aren't dogmatic. The writing doesn't feel like some 24 old trying to go viral. it's smart, it's complex, it's cruel, it's fair, it's provocative, there are no real heroes or villains.

I get guys like Rishi, I have done way more work on myself. but have a lot of those same qualities. Love the rush. Love the risk. No fears, but am not reckless and I have better impulsive control. Extremely hedonistic. and more to the point, understand mental health, understand the changing culture but at the same time think a lot of current culture just sounds like p*ssy shyt to me. and THAT right there is like Rishi. The violent streak. When some goofball staring at his phone doesn't get out of my way like in a taco spot, I feel like choking them out, like what the fukk is wrong with you? You think I won't slap you in front of your bytch? and that's super unhealthy. but that's how you grow up and it's hard to break.

A ponzi scheme with horses is wild :deadrose:

when he took his casino earnings to the club instead of paying his boy off. just watching this shyt play out was stressful :sadcam:

Rishi the goat degenerate… :ohlawd:
Just finished the episode. For all the L's he took, I guess he somewhat got the W in the end. I just knew he was gonna get fired from the bank. But like he said, when u make them hella money, u get to do whatever the fukk u wanna. He ain't learn shyt in the end :russ:

Forgot to mention the last ep but...it looked like I was right about Yasmin.
:dead:

Rob better get out before he commits that. I don't think he can handle the rejection of being fired/let go. He's gotta leave on his own terms.

Another great ep, my only issue was not seeing Harper's next move after overhearing that convo. Sure she cancelled the meeting but what's next.

Rishi back at work like nothing happened :wow:
