Aw shyt nikka did you go to the star? Lol...and yeah, I'm from Detroit and went to see it in Southfield at the first showing of the day. The audience was easily 98% black and people were clapping throughout the movie. First thing I could think of that it was "Inglorious Basterds" for black people...except way TRILLER. :
Go see that shyt, brehs. You'll be feeling like by the end.

Slavery is always show to us in film in the negative. They show us the evil white slave owner whipping and lashing the slaves, hard force labor in the heat, chains and ripped clothing, rapes, breeding, and torture. I'm pretty sure not all slave owners did this, nor even a majority of them.
What about focusing on the good things like education, multi-culturalism, houses, land, opportunity, family.
Not all slave owners dehumanized slaves.
Look at today's unspoken slavery....illegal immigrant labor. You don't always see or hear about people exploiting their labor, forcing them into unsafe work practices, ignoring OSHA regulations, household overpopulations, human trafficing. It happens though but we don't focus on that bad stuff, we focus on the good there. Things like doing the jobs Americans won't do like farming and construction.
My family were Irish indentured servants long before slave labor from Africa came to the states. You don't hear us complaining about the rapes and murders of our kind do you?
thats not a proper makeup. kerri need to be spread eagle for it to be proper

Saw the movie. There were some funny parts, but it's obvious Tarantino has a really fukked up preoccupation with black people. If really necessary, I'll break down my argument as to why, but it's my opinion that the joke's on you if you were black and didn't take issue with the movie.
