Sorry if posted already, found this on another forum

You know those tiny little glasses they're drinking out of at the table? Well, when he's going through his little tantrum, at some point, he smashes the table, and brings his hand down on one of those glasses.

Thats' not in the script: DiCaprio actually smashed his hand on one of the glasses during a take. And never broke character. In fact, the blood you see spreading over his hands comes from that take - and I'm pretty sure the blood he smears on Kerry Washington's face in that scene is his blood, because from what I understand, he went all the way to the end of that sequence in one take, and if his hand is bleeding onscreen, it's from that take.

He needed stitches, and his hand is scarred.

please elaborate... i have not seen the film and don't plan on watching in theaters.. bootleg if anything... thanks in advance ..

1. The use of the word "******". I read before watching that the word was used a lot in the movie. It was and that's not what was offensive/too much. What was offensive was the word being used as bait for laughs. For example, QT having one character say something to the effect of "No, not Hercules, ******cles!"...:merchant:.

2. The graphic, amistad-like scenes. If you're going to put graphic, Amistad-like imagery in your movie, the principal message of your movie should be about the sobering, brutal nature of slavery. There are a few moments where it seems like QT's fishing for laughs when the reality of the situation just isn't funny.

Example: White guy on horseback chasing 3 black dudes off into the field for comedic relief in a scene. :beli:

3. Sam Jackson's character...possibly the GOAT film c00n and voice for some of the most questionable lines. I don't know if it's worse if QT wrote them or Sam Jackson improvised them.

On another level, why is Sam Jackson the last "villain" to die in the movie? QT spends more time on his sendoff than Candie's.

4. The entire dinner scene @ Candie land...:wow:. An entire book could be written deconstructing Candie's speech.

Racial critiques aside, the movie was just poorly paced and fell off in the last half. Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, and Inglorious Basterds are still my top 3 QT flicks.

i thought the movie was dope, less gory moments except the end and some shootings. jamie def killed it and so did leonardo, a part of me really wanted samuel's character to die asap.. homie cried when leonardo got killed lol

no quentin's best but the dialogue was dope, ****** was used alot but is justified, it gave the movie some authenticity . lot's of white folks looked hella uncomfortable in that theater

When they started to play 2pac I got hyped. You rarely hear Pac used in films.

Film was fun as hell.

they dont wanna hear this though. the film tries to make lite/jokes of the scenario and it just fails. that ****** shyt gets stale real quick to point where Django's spree at the end aint even worth it.
