from someone who is culturally tied to brazil, i will say this, they are doing everything they can to make sure that rio is safe and ready to be secure for the olympics and copa, however this post is on point, dudes with money are gonna be in the most secure areas. Unless you are like me with family in several areas where its not going to be loaded with rush limbaugh types, its gonna be generally crowded particularly in rio. My family is from Sao Paolo, so its a little diff.

Also, learn the fukking language if you can, because there are gonna be some elite level scammers out there, and dont think that there wont be any female gang associates out there robbin nikkas in their sleep. ATM robberies and temporary kidnappings are gonna be shut down, but scamming is gonna be a big problem out there.

most of yall should be fine, but if you are trying to maintain a relationship in brasil that is a foolish foolish thing to do, if you go, break up, you will cheat. over and over again.

Yeah. American slavery stripped every semblance of African culture from its victims. Only in New Orleans, owned by the Spanish and French, did they retain it.

I really want to check it out. Yoruba culture is probably bigger there than in Nigeria itself.
