this is the first time im of age so im voting
and i feel like it doesn't matter if your vote "counts" or not. i could watch the superbowl the day after too, but its more about the experience and participating in the political system.
i think it counts but in terms of perception it means a lot.
if 80% of minorities voted vs the less than 10% that vote (or whatever low ass number that is) it would show them we're paying attention.
and really we do elect our congressmen and reps by popular vote and an HUGE turnout, a HUGE CONSISTENT, turnout would send a message and THEN shyt would change....maybe.
