I'm going to be consuming content for about 600-800 hours before I begin lessons
just to get familiar with the language and pronunciation....

My current plan at the moment is ....

5 X Kids episodes per day (Castelo Ra Tim Bum then Peppa Pig?)
One Brazilian movie per day/2 X 1 hour capitulo
Duolingo
Baile funk playlist /samba during minor work
Watch Globo/SBT

Then after 3 months ...

Pimsluer course
Semantica Course
10-20 Italki sessions per week
Attend Brazilian concerts/events

Then in 6 months and beyond focus more on the reading/writing aspects

I'm a big samba fan and have been using duolingo too. What are your sources for the kids episodes and brazilian movies?

Learning spanish all over but bought this book that teaches the phrases instead of word for word. Conversational stuff as a foundation and then build on that.

Just type in "Castelo Ra Tim Bum" on Youtube and there should be a playlist ...

If you type that in Google it will provide recommendations on other shows ...just youtube these as well

This breh as full Peppa Pig episodes ...and Youtube always has more suggestions to the right

Denilson Rauber

as for movies

45 filmes pra assistir e pensar duas vezes antes de falar mal do cinema nacional

Just pick one and type in youtube or primewire....

I just bought the full DVD set of Avenida Brasil...so I'm going to start that after I finish this Netflix show below

Yes... but only if

You can if you sleep for only 4-5 hours per day and do nothing but learn those languages

That means no football, no bball, little time for hoes and nothing else beside learning these

You'll pick Spanish and French quickly as most romance languages have a common root

German will be tough......

And you couldn't pick a harder combo if you tried ( Swahili/Japanese/Chinese/Korean ) really ?

why not add Russian just to make things interesting ?

I was gonna start with German, but I know people who know Spanish, Japanese, & Korean. They told me Spanish and Korean are easy to pickup pretty quickly:yeshrug:

Learning Spanish at the moment. To be honest it's a pretty easy language to pick up in my opinion as once you learn basic words you'll Understand key words in sentences quickly. Only been doing it for about 3 months so far.
