My goal is to be reasonablely fluent by the end if this year in Spanish

What's the gameplan

english (not my mother language)
afrikaans
i had french in school since grade 7, but once i finished school i stopped talking/reading,etc..
don't think i would understand anything outside the basic 'how are you' or 'what is your name' etc...
i always thought about relearning french.
maybe in a year or two when i have more time!!

Aquí está algún consejo para ti.... la mejor manera para aprenderlo rápidamente es utilizar los libros que explican y mostran las distintas partes de la gramática española. Aunque, es útil el software, no te ayuda mucho cuando empieces a construir las frases y las oraciones. El software solamente es bueno para aprender el vocabulario(en el opinión mio). Hablar es mucho más fácil cuando sabes construir de la mente.

Aprenda la gramática, entonces todo otro te viene más fácil.

Si puedes entender todo este sin traductor, entonces no necesitas los libros de la gramática.

No software really teaches you all of the intricacies of a foreign language. My Spanish is basically college level, but I never took a college course in my life. I learned the basics in middle school, then learned the rest by purchasing books and looking at Internet resources.

You can learn Spanish by only using the Internet if you have the dedication.

fixed..... Sounds like fun. I'm eligible for vacation now, but I don't know where I wanna go. So many places that I wanna visit! I'd feel guilty if I went to visit a Spanish-speaking country before I went to the motherland.
