Hell yeah. I miss going with my girl getting a huge popcorn bowl and enjoying the movie in our recliner seats. The theater where i am serves liquor too. Had some fun times at the movies. Seems like a life time ago.

I definitely miss going to theater. However, I never get the popcorn. $12 for popcorn and $5 for a fountain drink?! :mjlol:

I’ve brought barbecue to the movie theater in a purse :russ:.
Its that time of year to sneak snacks and drinks in your coat too :lolbron:

I miss going to a majority-black theater during films like "Get Out" and "Black Panther" and hearing all the emotions of black folk cheering and shyt-talking :banderas:

I dont know what theater you went to:picard:

I’m not in a rush to go back to the movies (mainly because everything is pushed back) but if I go to ANY theaters these days it’s reclining seats, waiter bringing you food and drinks, tickets bought online just walk through, etc.

Not doing regular ass movie theaters anymore

Me and my woman were checking out other movie theaters a few years back and messed up and went to a regular movie theater.

It was a culture shock. I hadn't been in one of those in like ten years :pachaha:

It was nostalgic tho.:wow:

I saw Bad Boys II in a black theater in Cleveland OH back in July 2003.

That experience of ad-libbing for 2.5 hours of people talking shyt was a great experience.

Only back in the 80's/early-90's.

Summer Blockbusters was LIT!!!

I guess The Avengers and Lord of the Rings tried to recapture that feeling, but y'all had to be there for shyt like this.....

**WHOLE THEATER APPLAUDING**

Everybody applauded for Black Panther and Avengers Endgame.

The only movies I've been to where the audience applauded :wow:

I had a similar experience with Get Out. Mostly black audience EXCEPT for the one interracial couple :pachaha:

They was sitting on the same row as us and they was uncomfortable, boy :pachaha:

But black folks screaming out at ole boy to run at the end and then the part where the police pulled up and every single black man and woman in that theater felt the same sinking feeling :wow:

Iconic :wow:

I was just thinking about this the other day. As much as I go a year, surprisingly I don’t. Maybe because there really hasn’t been much new shyt I’ve wanted to see due to getting that Covid push back.

On demand is the new wave :shaq: not having to deal with annoying ass people in the theater :mjpls: talking during the movie and trying to be damn comedians. I don’t really care what drops next year, it it doesn’t drop on streaming right away I’ll just wait. Not going to a theater.
