Journeyman Sheet Metal Worker here.

Did a 5 year 10,000 hr apprenticeship in Wisconsin. Once I became Journeyman, I hit the slab and started chasing the paper, that's how I ended up in Denver. 50-60 hr weeks, and 100+ a day in per diem.

Can make 100k with no sweat.

You get any other tickets? Gas fitting or anything like that?

No, im saying sprinkler fitters themselves say they wish they were plumbers because sprinkler fitting doesnt have as much work.

are you talking about fire sprinklers fitters? bullcrap your lifting 70 pound pipe,on high rise buildings,its a VERY tough job on your body

i have said it many times here im a wastewater operator surpervisor ...been a sup for about a year started as a wastewater operator apprentice in alabama passed the state liscense was a operator in bama for 11 half years got married moved to florida passed the florida state exam been in florida 8 years as a operator then a supervisor will be doing this until im retired i cleared 67000 last year.

I little lifting turning of valves manually but alot of computer monitoring changing chlorine tanks with oxygen tanks on as well as automatically turning valves through the computer taking water samples running tests....checking chlorine levels in the water

Being a wastewater operator is like being a worker at a chemical plant diffrence is you are dealing with human waste instead whatever chemical the plant is manufacturing.

the sprinkler fitters ive talked to say they get laid off alot, so they wish they had become plumbers because they dont get laid off as much.

I dont know any unathletic electricians unless theyre old. Just started an apprenticeship.
