I haven't gone to the gym in 6-7 months. I run 2x a week and been doing 100 pull ups a week and probably 500 push ups a week but I already know other than that I've fallen off. Finna go today later and get back on the grind. My diet and quarantine has gotten me lazy and I can't do it no more. Probably gained 30 lbs :sadcam:

I miss my 6 pack and compliments. Still get told I look strong tho :jawalrus:

how you do all that and gain 30 :gucci: but I guess you said that was a rough estimate. But yeah I didn’t do a thing for a minute and I was up like 15 lbs

Probably more like 15-20 in quarantine and 10 from the year before that where I was really taking everything seriously. I miss it and want it back so I'm on it again. Most of it came from drinking, and when I was drinking id get fast food. So that cycle ruined me. Everything I've been doing is me just trying to hold on by a thread

Mannnn I went to go add some weight to the chest dips like two 45s I struggled to get one up. That ish use to be easy as FIUK!

Now I am back to the beginning those ISO HOLD dips and just trying to get my reps up.

Going more bodyweight focus this time so I can keep my strength

Same here. :mjcry:
I used to do burn out sets of 20+ reps with 90 lbs after I finished benching. Now I’m tired after doing sets of 20 with 45lbs.

I was able to use a 35 pound kettlebell and do all the overheard exercises. Felt a long thing muscle by my tricep I never felt before get tight with a sharp pain and stopped during my fourth circuit. But overall it things are going in the right direction. It's been a couple days since the workout and all the soreness is gone. Going to stick with the 35 for at least another week. Feels good after using 10 and 15 pound weights at the gym for weeks. That was a huge blow to the ego. I wanted to tell everyone at the gym I had surgery.

When I first started this post it would take me like 20 something minutes to complete 3 sets of 8 pull-ups.

not it takes me less than half that time to do 3 sets of 10

the other day I did 50 pushups in a row.

my trap bar deadlifts are just 335lbs(5reps 3 sets) ... I’m kinda scared to really overload and strain on back stuff

I had a hard time finding a lot of stuff on working out after an injury like mine and thought I'd put an update in. I do reps of 225 on bench now. I did 245 for 5 one workout and after a talk with the old big motherfukker that owns the gym I will stick to 225 and below and looking at buying a slingshot. My pec tear was June of 2019. And now there are some days where I almost forget it happened. It's still different though. And while the ego still hurts not doing reps of 315, I'm over it. Stay hydrated bruhs. And find out what the ROM is for different exercises if you're going heavy. I was blessed to have a health savings account with more than enough in it, but that could have been ugly.
