I understand CCs breh. They're all not the same. A R6 is way faster than rebel 750.
I'm just saying both sport bikes and cruisers have their merits and can be fun. The Indian Challenger makes 120lbs of torque vs the R6 only making 45.
Cruisers can be fast and powerful too.
Breh u can get a cbr500 and get everything u want. You’re not getting shyt but a hard lesson for $1700. Don’t be cheap about a bike.

I don't want a 300, cbr500 or 650. They look like ass and sound like ass. The sv650 is the only one I'd take, but I can't find any.
I'm bout to buy something for $1700, not trying to wait. I mean if it's a Honda motor, isn't it reliable? As long as the bike is maintained and not beat up then I should be good. Matter of fact, I don't even entertain buying from 20 somethings.
Forget what I told you before. I strongly recommend getting something like a Ducati street fighter(I know you have a cheap budget but if you find one get it.) and if you live in a no helmet state; skip that BS 2.

I've been laughing out loud (typed it out so you know I'm serious) this whole page, you on one tonight.
And the scene is definitely changing where I'm at. When I bought my first bike in 2016 there was hella active clubs with everybody mixing and mingling and sht. This was my first summer back in Chicago and it was not at all how I remembered it. Hopefully it was just a down year and we get back to it in 2025 because last year had me missing Broward County's bike scene. Don't get me wrong we have big ride outs and meets still it's just idk not quite the same or maybe I'm just getting old.

Bruh I'm guilty of spending a fortune on helmets, this one was $1,199, the photochromic visor was another $200. It's their 1st street helmet and it's all carbon fiber. My other 2 helmets are a Shoei X-14 ($900) and a HJC RPHA 11 Pro ($485). If you can justify it, look at the HJC RPHA 11 Pro helmets, they are super light, very comfortable, great venting, quiet. and they come in some nice colorways.
