Every time I look at the cruiser I think about the sport bike though. I'm not gonna lie to myself, I'm eventually gonna want speed and to hear the inline 4:lupe: Cruiser ain't really got the power unless I go the bigvtwin Indian Challenger or Harley Road Glide cvo

Only real reason for me to not get the 600 is because it's bad for street riding at low rpm. I been looking for a sv650 but they hard to find. and I don't want those ugly sounding Honda 500s

I already took the basic rider course, but gonna take it again next year.
I'm confused, what do you mean bad for street riding at low RPMs? I mean it's obviously not made to do sht at low RPMs so duh but all the fun is on the highway anyway. If you absolutely have to take the streets I don't see the issue though. I rode my 636 around town all the time just fine.

Btw if u are gonna get a 600 you might as well get the best in class. I'm not recommending it because I had one. I had one because it objectively was the best in class. But $1700 is a steal so deal wise yeah go with the Honda

So from what I understand the motorcycle market is moving away from inline 4 600s and towards 2 cylinder sport bikes with more torque down low.

I've read numerous times inline 4s aren't good on the streets because they don't make any power unless you Rev them past 10k and by then you way past the speed limit.

:beli:why do you need power for city riding breh. I'm a fukking nutcase with a BMW liter bike and even I admit you don't need crazy power riding around town. A moped can give you enough power for that. Maybe you live in some corny town with a population of 20,000 or some shyt but in Chicago it's literally pointless to have low rpm power anyway because of the traffic.

And the funniest part of it all is, that "little power" the 600 gives you at low RPMs is shytting on whatever that 5000000 pound tank vstar will put out so it's really a non issue regardless of how you look at it.

Get the cruiser to be safe, get the sport bike if survival isn't at the top of your priorities and for the love of God don't ride in below 50° weather until you have plenty of riding experience. I was thirsty last week we had a 55° day out of nowhere here in Chicago I hopped my stupid ass on and by the time the sun fell it was back down to 46° :sadcam: couldn't even take the highway back home because the wind chill would've had me crying real tears. It just ain't worth it breh. But you are correct this is the best time to buy if you have a pickup truck or something.

Inline 4s do not have power at low rpms. You have to get past 7k to get that 120+ hp and 40lbs of torque. And by that point you breaking the speed limit.

That's what I've read.

I'm convinced this nikka trolling mane ain't no way. I said stupid sht before I started riding too but he really standing on this "600s have no power at low RPMs" business yeah I'm out breh :banderas:

If you are being serious though, please keep in mind when you read they have "no power at low RPMs" they're being compared to other sport bikes like 1000s, 1100s (Aprilia), 1300s (busa), 1400s. So yeah I mean if your choices were a 600 or a 1000 and you concerned about speed at low RPMs fukk it get the liter and kys :manny:

But your options are a cbr600 and a cruiser breh what the fukk are we doing rn. That's why I'm saying you gotta be trolling or just stubbornly ill-informed but either way you gotta chill breh

P.S. and please please don't be making the rookie mistake of thinking more ccs= more speed. Look up the horsepower on that vstar and prepare to be horrified.

What's wrong with a powerful high torque cruiser? Those are fast too and can be drag raced. Definitely not the 1100 I brought up, but there's plenty to choose from

You ever see king of baggers?
