where is the helmet review :what:

Out of all the race helmets I've had, this one is hands down the best. Comfort is a 10 out of 10, had it on for 2hrs Tuesday evening, no issues, very tight opening, but once you get your head in, its great. Noise...... for a race helmet is it quiet around the city, not much wind noise on the freeway either. I could hear my Cardo com just fine in either setting. Airflow is a 10 out of 10, the mouth vents flows quite a bit of air into the helmet, you smell every thing outside. The forehead vent feel like AC funneling through the helmet and out the back. Might just sell my Shoei X14 and Rpha Pro helmets to buy 2 more Alpinestars in different colorways. Weight, its all carbon fiber so it's comes in at just over 3lbs, no way you get tired wearing it.

3 questions.....

1. does the visor flip up easy

2. does it fog

3. How's the padding? is it super tight? easy to throw on and off?

I know its only been a couple days. but let me know I still gotta tune up n put on new tires. I seen the new color ways and they're nasty. Its either this or another Arai for me I can't decide

This a big bytch. I see why people say start small.

Still ain't got no gear, too cold to ride anyway. Probably try to grab a helmet, boots, and gloves next week and ride around the block. I want to sneak it out tomorrow with no plate :patrice:

Visor takes some getting used to as there is a lever/lock that pops up to release the visor. Once you get used to it, it’s easy.

Only time it fogged was when I 1st put on in the morning when it was about 50 degrees out. I hadn’t opened the mouth vents yet, once those were opened and I got moving no fogging at all.

Padding is snug once you get it on. I usually wear a large in helmets, I actually could have gotten a medium in this one. Tight opening to get your head into and out of, once it’s on very comfortable.

Only been able to test it out for 2 days so far, our temps are back down in the 40’s again. Hopefully in a week or so we’ll be back to nice riding temps of atleast close to 60.

Congrats on the bike. If you haven’t picked any, highly recommend chain lube, cleaner, and a chain brush. I see you got a center stand so it will be easy to maintain. Make sure you check tire pressure weekly, that can affect tire wear and fuel mileage. Also check all your signal and lights to make sure no bulbs are out.

Yeah all lights work. It has underglow too. I did the best I could do as far as inspecting the bike with zero experience. Didn’t test ride it though. Ive read about mofos riding around with 6psi. Damn dummies.

Depending on how my skill advances, I may or may not cop a 250cc later down the line. This bytch is as heavy as a Hayabusa, my dream bike:russ:

Probably not a good idea. But the bike was clean, no drops or crazy mods. Engine oil and gas tank was good. Told dude I wanted to hear a cold start and it started right up. And it ran through all the gears. It's not a Ducati, so not really worried about anything.
