Exactly, Charleston has the most "southern elite" cacs the state can produce apart from the islands

They damn near aristocratic up there. Old money going back centuries and shyt. The white accent in places like Chuck town, Richmond and SAV is actually closer to how Cacs in England talked back in the 17-1800’s than it is how Cacs in England talk now. Same with the Geechie accent, it sounds damn near like an up north accent, was in this baby boot camp youth reform program as a git, down south by the coast with mostly Geechie brehs, and I legit thought the dudes from SAV and Brunswick was up north nikkas at first. Like the first 2 weeks I was doing double take after double take, brehs had gold teeth and dreads sounding like Philly nikkas almost. Wasn’t until one of them brehs from down there hipped me to the game, the accent they have is a country accent, it’s just the country accent from 100-200 years ago. It’s so isolated down there that the rest of the south switched up over time, but there shyt stayed the same.

White Charleston is ground zero for southern preppy culture. If you a retired white person with money, moving from somewhere else in the south to Charleston is like a status power move. That’s something they brag about. It’s a whole lot of brehs there, but the white culture there isn’t something you see everywhere either. That’s where they go to stunt in they own way. Vineyard Vines, eat out 2-3 times a week and go quail hunting with a Spaniel that costs 10 bands in the marshes on the weekends

I’m not really race conscious like that when it comes to citys... I usually don’t give a fukk but I prefer diverse places.

But if not, as long as people leave me tf alone idc. Don’t care about dating and would only go out to shoot pool or watch movies.

These are the reasons I had to post this. All I have been getting is different facts. Some nikkas are saying it's acc central and not a place for a brother while others are saying it's the best city in S.C to be at.

Lot of variables in that one. If you gonna be living in a Black area I’d really say it’s about the same. Charleston might be a little worse actually, low country grimey is in a different lane than up country grimey. And this coming from a breh from the upcountry. But if you gonna be in a mixed or white area doing those types of things, then it’s Charleston and it’s not close.

Liquor in Louisiana stops at like 2am and if a gas station has a casino in it they selling 24/7

Sundays I think its until like 10 as well but finding liquor in Louisiana is easy af.

Sounds like in Charleston you would have to buy in bulk
