Just got from visiting this weekend..breh gentrification has TAKEN OVER Downtown and definitely creeping to the Macon/ The Hike/ Liberty Hill area too

The horrible thing about it is BP Have NOWHERE to go when it’s all said an done..the only thing East and South of CHS is the Atlantic Ocean

They AINT moving to Mount Pleasant or Summerville ..I guess they all gonna just gonna move to other various places in the North like they did when the first projects was torn down back in the day

10 years ago Summerville wasn't shyt but the azalea square shopping center, now it's booming. Daniel island wasn't shyt before that, now it's booming. Monck's Corner is going through the same phase right now.

Move to Monck's Corner. Cheap land and it's growing due to Google and Volvo expansion. I bought a house there brand new for $160k in 2014, now it's worth $220k and only going up.

The thing about Charleston is because it's basically at Sea level you can't expand up and have to expand out.

People talking about Myrtle (1.5 hours away) don't realize that folly Beach, isle of palms and the other 10 beaches in Charleston are way better beaches.

I moved to Central Oregon this year but kept my house and would def move back when i start thinking about retirement

I was in North Charleston too and it was the hoodest countriest shyt ever. I’m not talking about Atlanta country hood, I’m talking about a nikka might do a gallop-by on a goat type country hood.

Also, geechee women will be thoroughly vetted for a potential spot on my favorites list along side East Africans. I would’ve never thought aggressively feminine was possible until my visit. Then again they might’ve had to be aggressive to get their points across since there was a language barrier.

Born and raised in the south, lived in mutiple different states, been thru more than a few other states enough to know my way around a little, these clowns can’t fool me breh. I already know what it is. Been called the N word twice in my life, once in Beverly on the Southside of Chicago and legit got chased out out of an Irish hood in Lake County Indiana when I was a kid. Make that drive from Cleveland to DC, you’ll see more confederate flags from the PA state line to damn near the DMV metro than you will anywhere else in the country

I have experience more overt racism up north than in the south. That is facts. The worst was my visit to Chicago.
