Coli fam,

Give me all the information you know about Charleston, SC. I'm thinking of applying for a job down there (military).

I know Myrtle Beach is close by. But how are the restaurants, night life, is it diverse, do I gotta worry about confederate flags everywhere.

Keep in mind I am a city boy, but I've lived all over the world so I can easily adapt to any environment.
One of my favorite southern cities....

Charleston is cool...good food spots likes Poogan's Porch and other areas....I didn't see many Confederate flags....but you may see some...folks were very friendly and overall cool vibe....If I had to move to the Deep South...that would be one place I would consider.

Fair enough.
I can't claim to know or have seen the whole south.
But Savannah was nice.
That's about all my southern experiences....
I have been down here for a few years and visited a few of the major cities. It's not that bad at all. I've convinced a few people to move down and people who see my social media up north always ask me what it's like. It's not for everybody but this idea that it's all backwater CACs is dumb. Most of the people I know here aren't even from here :lolbron: and the people from here are OK
