Damn this is my type of thread I love running more than anything.. it just feels so good at times, but I do get injured/hurt pretty frequently.

Definitely never skip out on stretching, and don't skimp out on it either. You need to stretch the entire body but the hips and below in particular. A strong core allows you to run easier and more powerful.

I run 3 days a week about 4-6km per run. I'm stuck at this plateau at the moment, I definitely need to have slow run days as I usually push myself to the limit. My biggest issues are breathing and controlling my speed. On my off days I do calisthenics and rock climbing. Trying to do a marathon by next year

Any shoes ya'll brehs recommend for daily road running? I'm trying to get into doing about 3 miles a day 5-6 days a week around my neighborhood. Looking for something in the $100 range at least until I get more serious about it.
If you have an outlet near you can catch some steals there I run in the Nike infinity run 2. Also check asics they have many styles so I would just go to a shoe store and try out and see which one fits best and is comfortable for you.

I wish I could run more, but my feet can't handle it.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Have you try putting insoles in your shoes before running? I'm flat footed and have issues with running at times even through I love. I recently wound up buying some custom insoles from Dr.Scholls and my feet fell so much better while running on the treadmill.

How long do you keep shoes before you change them out? I am approaching 300 miles on these Mizunos and they feel more worn out than normal. I usually keep them for about 500 miles but these don't seem like they'll come close to that.

Regardless of mileage, if they feel worn out get rid of them and get new ones.

Did a 7km last night. Tried 2 new shoes on the past 2 runs; Asics dynablast and New balance fresh foams. Neither is fukking with brooks glycerin 2.0. new balance felt like ass and I had lost of issues after my run. Dynablast had the bottom of my feet hurting and back leg pain.

Dynablast felt better on my feet though

I need a new pair of glycerin but I wanna get them on sale.
