So teams have turned the page on their 2023 1st and 4th overal pick QBs after just a handful of games....
No this is the first time they drafted a QB in the first round post luck. The problem is they did it with a guy who was garbage in college. Joe Flacco isn’t stopping you from drafting another guy next year.
They didn’t want the number 4 pick to be significantly worse than the corpse of Joe Flacco, but here we are.
We’ve literally been starting old ass QBs or low ceiling QBs with the hope that we could win games and it’s never gotten us closer to another SB. We know Flacco isn’t leading us to a SB so what’s the point? It’s not even like AR is the missing piece to get us over the hump. The defense is still mid. Our WRs outside of Downs can’t get separation. There’s no way our #4 pick gets any better being benched for Flacco with no explanation and it sounds like the locker room is being broken as we speak. No this is the first time they drafted a QB in the first round post luck. He's a ROOKIEHim struggling with weapons is a huge problem. I know y'all love that nicca, but c'mon
But have no problems investing four years into band-aid QBs looking to revitalize their careers…So teams have turned the page on their 2023 1st and 4th overal pick QBs after just a handful of games....
Browns had to dump him. He won games with the browns and looked way better than Watson. If they kept him the fans wouldve been cheering for him to come in every game.Browns were happy to dump him.
Like they were cheering for Winston?Browns had to dump him. He won games with the browns and looked way better than Watson. If they kept him the fans wouldve been cheering for him to come in every game.
13 is enough when you are an all time bad passer in year 2 on a team/coaching staff that won 7 games the year prior with a garbage starter. 44% completion would’ve been bad in 2004.If you don't need 50 games to know whether or not someone can play, and 13 is enough. Doesn't that mean outside of Adonai Mitchell they've already been able to evaluate the rest of the offense?
No it doesn’t because you can trade up. The chiefs went from 27-12 to get MahomesYou said the goal is to win games with Flacco and not tank. That doesn't hurt Indy's ability to draft a quality prospect?
Part of the reason they never drafted a first round QB post Luck is because they never bottomed out enough to be in a position to get a top guy.
If it’s It’s broken, it’s because they have been starting the clearly worse QB and playing in their facesWe’ve literally been starting old ass QBs or low ceiling QBs with the hope that we could win games and it’s never gotten us closer to another SB. To win what he has ten starts he needs reps and the last game I watched it was deep shot after deep shot no qb will look good doing thatYou a through and through Colts fan
Prepare for the onslaught of lazy non Colts watchers to tell you that he shouldn’t have been benched because potential
He is horrible. Flacco gives the team the best chance to win and frankly Steichen needs wins to stay in the seat.
No brainer.
He always was gonna be a project idk why it’s surprising he’s bad. And it’s really still year 1 for him he couldn’t even do anything in the off season either cause he was rehabbing13 is enough when you are an all time bad passer in year 2 on a team/coaching staff that won 7 games the year prior with a garbage starter. 44% completion would’ve been bad in 2004.

What exactly does Flacco starting do but win 6-7 games the team isn’t even that good anywaysIf it’s It’s broken, it’s because they have been starting the clearly worse QB and playing in their faces
Now you’re trolling lol. There’s no way you don’t understand that even tho Flacco has a higher floor, AR has the higher ceiling and is the one we spent the #4 overall pick on. A locker room being broken because an old vet QB is better than a young soph (basically rookie)? Yeah okIf it’s It’s broken, it’s because they have been starting the clearly worse QB and playing in their faces
