marvel makes serviceable shyt but jesus their formula is getting so stale
literally every movie is structured the exact same way
shiet even cap 2 turned into the same shyt i've seen for the past 6 years towards the end
i'm so tired of their safe ass shyt

I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
who the fukk wants to see an ANT-MAN movie?? :pachaha:

original

I became a fan after I saw him on EMH. Since then, I've read a few of his stories - "Man in the Ant Hill" from Tales to Astonish in particular.

Can someone explain the Marvel stan movement? They have made some good movie but the amount of :cape: that people do for this studio (and yes it is a studio just like any other that gets shyt on >>WB<< regularly. They interfere with the creative process on the regular, shyt on actors regularly, remove character development from scripts yet they are constantly being caped for because they made a couple movies that fans like. Jon Favreau, Terrence Howard, Mickey Rourke, Edward Norton,Allan Taylor, Kenneth Branagh and Joe Johnston all have less than favorable experiences working for Marvel Studios.
And this idea that they are making films of a quality that hasn't been seen in 20something years like a poster said is bullshyt.

We have had the Burton Batman flicks, the first two X-Men movies, First Class, the first two Spider-Man movies and Blade 1&2 that are just as good as Marvel's best and better than the majority of the films that Marvel Studios has put out.

:sas1:Been saying the same shyt for years that's why this Ant-Man thing is hilarious to me. Fanboys filate them on the reg and think they're not just like any other studio. there are plenty of stories, specifically the ones you cited, that people could hold against them. Only a few directors choose to come back and anyone who leaves is always more than honest about how difficult they are to work with and how most of their directors aren't even allowed in the editing bay. Unless you're Whedon, you're a hired hand. Those same fanboys dump on fox and sony for how they handle directors or actors or scripts but give Marvel the pass each and every time, no questions asked, even when the evidence mounts against them with the behind the scenes shyt. I don't trip over it because studios do what studios do and it's up to the director, writers, and actors to navigate those waters and make something good out of it but the amount of worshiping fanboys do at the altar of Marvel is mad weird and confusing.

But all Marvel properties should come home because then the directors and writers would be allowed to do what they want without pesky studio interference:sas2:

Yeah a lot of actors and directors left and salty after their experience. I really don't care as long as the product is good.
Besides Ironman 2 and Thor 2 I think all their movies get a passing grade. No they haven't made a movie as good as the Dark Knight or Watchmen (Director's Cut). But I like Ironman and Cap 2 as much as if not more than any movies mentioned. And all film franchise mentioned eventually went in different directions with different directors, actors, etc. similar to Marvel Disney. It's just part of the business.
Making episodic movies of this scale is unprecedented and in true comic book tradition. I'm enjoying it.
Edgar Wright Doing Ant-Man seemed interesting and I to am mad he's gone. But no need to crap on the entire studio. They are doing it better than Fox, Warner or Sony. You have to combine all their dope movies to be comparable to Marvel/Disney.

people are finally waking up to the marvel mediocre film machine dumping out sitcoms.

imagine if sony or fox treated actors like marvel does. replacing them like nothing. or if they had the line long of actors and directors being disgruntled that marvel does.

these marvel stans would be foaming at the mouth with hatred and ill will.

its truly pathetic to watch them brush off every marvel scumbag move while hating on every single thing fox or sony do.

and for what?a bunch of throwaway sitcoms? iron man2 and 3, cap 1, thor 1 and 2 all trash.

even their best, cap 2, iron man and avengers are merely passable films that will not hold up over time. its just sheep mentality, letting themselves get caught up in hype. then slowly as the movies become more and more stale people start stepping away from the herd and admitting the movies were not very good. once you step back from the novelty of what theyve done and look at the films you realize they are so fukking bland and forgettable with only the very thinnest of strings holding them together.

just watch, in five years the perception of marvel films will do a complete 180. reminds me of the booth hypng up every wack rapper just because its the next "cool" thing.

Wow shocked to see so many people shytting on Marvel. I mean yea some of their films have been formulaic junk but I feel perhaps there's not enough appreciation being given in this thread for the good shyt they've has done and also for comin through and crushin the buildings like they have.

When it's all said and done the Marvel franchise will be unlike anything else done before it. For all we know they could be like 20 movies deep in a few years. Who knows where they take this story beyond Avengers 3.

Maybe they drop that Civil War.

This is exactly how I feel about Marvel. As I said in another thread, they've yet to make a "A" quality film.

Their 2 best, Cap 2 & Iron Man 1----I'd give both a B

Avengers is a B- to me.A lot of those scenes on the Helicarrier felt like a boring Sunday afternoon at grandma's house. No replay value at all IMO.Seeing all those superheroes come together was a major event for the times, but in retrospect, shyt was bland as fukk

Fantastic Four, the X-Men series of films, and Spiderman/The Amazing Spiderman have replaced actors and directors. And no one is hating on them or calling them scumbag moves. Stop making shyt up.
And actually people aren't waking up to Marvel's supposed mediocrity. I know you seen the Captain America 2 numbers. :usure:
