I felt that way about Iron Man at first.who the fukk wants to see an ANT-MAN movie??![]()

Ant-Man isn't an A-lister but with the right story, it could be a fun movie.

Iron Man was definitely more popular than Ant-Man is now. Besides, the potential of seeing a one man killing machine in a suit like his is way more interesting than a guy who can change size.I felt that way about Iron Man at first.

Well, don't forget the critics to. It got a 92% tomatmeter. Guess they got bamboozled to.The masses are asses who get caught up in marketing & hype.
The Avengers was hyped up to be a major event, but so was Tyson vs Spinks.
Marvel set that shyt up brilliantly..The post credit scenes/6 years of build up.
Even if the movie was shyt, it was still going to hit a billion, regardless.
Spiderman 3 was the higest selling comic book flick for a minute
Luckily for Marvel, The Avengers wasn't a disaster. It was a B- flick and they ended up making 1.5 billion.
Once all the hype fades, it's still just a B- flick.Personally, I'd lower it down to a C+ because it has no replay value IMO.The last few times that I tried, it was like trying to force a kid to watch a whole episode of M.A.S.H

I don't have a problem people saying they personally didn't think it was all that but please stop with the revisionist history. It is like the best received blockbuster in recent memory. People overwhelming liked it. Just because that doesn't include you is no reason to try to put a damper on all of its success, commercially or critically or fanwise. It was a homerun.
I don't look much into critic ratings because sometimes they are influence by hype, or just caught up in the moment. Sometimes you have to give it time to settle in to properly judge it.Well, don't forget the critics to. It got a 92% tomatmeter. Guess they got bamboozled to.

Now I was really digging The Avengers movie, but after the second viewing and when I watched it again after buying the blu, I saw it as pretty shallow but fun movie.
People letting sites like rotten tomatoes and metacritic judge if they should see a movie or play a game for them without using their own judgment
Where was the lack of legitimacy? Just curious.I liked Winter Soldier a lot (probably my second favorite Marvel movie) and the upgrade in fight choreography was very welcome and one of my favorite aspects of the movie but it was still more like the rest of the Marvel flicks than it was a legit political thriller as so many folks like to tout it.
Drew Goddard exits Daredevil. Are y'all guys gonna have a nervous breakdown on that too?
I consider political thriller as movies along the lines of The Manchurian Candidate, The Man Who Knew Too Much, Three Days of the Condor, The Parallax View...Winter Soldier was an action-adventure movie.Where was the lack of legitimacy? Just curious.
so like a realistic context. I got you.I consider political thriller as movies along the lines of The Manchurian Candidate, The Man Who Knew Too Much, Three Days of the Condor, The Parallax View...Winter Soldier was an action-adventure movie.
