no they weren't "supposed" to get 2.5,.... that's how much they sued for. you can sue anybody for any amount that doesn't mean your going to get it. often times, you sue for a higher amount than what you want.... its negotiations 101. then THEY SETTLED (meaning they said lets forget this lawsuit, we'll take less) for the lesser amount. i think you misunderstand the article. but even more confusing, you argue that obama had little to do with the settlement, but then turn around and blame him for the settlement

This should be common sense..... That lawsuit benefited about 20, 000 nikkas...... It’s way more nikkas than that at the than classics every year.... It’s more nikkas than that in a smaller black suburb of a decent sized black city

Also for others posting lawsuits and settlements, that's not something Obama "gives". The government has been sued. That's like saying that guy who fell in the nyc sidewalk full of rats is going to be "given" a check. No he's going to hire a lawyer to go demand a bag for him.
