Most presidents do HBCU funding, and trump lead the way on reform....but that's far from being enough.

GTFO with that bullshyt, Trump didn't "lead the way" on shyt. Obama reduced crack penalties in 2010 and Democrats had been pushing the First Step Act since 2015 only to be blocked by Congressional Republicans. Trump came into power and his administration immediately announced that sentences should be more severe, not less. The next year his racist son-in-law convinced him that if he agreed to compromise on an extremely weakened version of the First Step Act then he could siphon away Black votes, so he agreed to a MUCH weaker version of what Democrats had been pushing. When not enough Black folk switched sides he disowned that shyt and said he was done with reform and wasn't gonna listen to his son-in-law anymore.

Are you personally on pace for zero wealth? Are you, personally, saying that your life will be worthless unless you get reparations?

Are you really gonna watch cops killing people in the street or the president sending troops out against protesters and really claim that nothing other than universal reparations matters? Education reform, justice reform, health care reform, voting rights, civil rights....you don't think any of that matters?

I've been pushing reparations for a long-ass time but I've always realized that it was a process. It will take massive majority support to push it over the finish line and we ain't nowhere near that yet. Even with Black folk only about 75% support reparations right now, Latinos support at 45% and White folk less than 20%. We have to be on the ground getting those numbers WAY up before we can even talk about the president, who can only sign or veto a bill the House and Senate give him anyway.
