That article you posted is from March 2010 before the shyt even happened, Obama signed the bill and approved the funds in December 2010.

There was no "full bag" it was an arbitrary number (settled on $50,000 per farmer), the question is what number Congress would approve and $1.25 billion is what they could get in addition to the $1 billion that they had already got under Clinton. (Separate lawsuits compensating Black famers for specific grievances were already settled due to activism by John Boyd Jr.'s group and help from the Clinton Administration in the 1990s.) You're right that it's the foot soldiers who put in the main work, that's ALWAYS true. Did you not read the post I wrote on it about all the work it took? Trump didn't do shyt on Criminal Justice Reform that started under G.W. Bush with the 2nd Chance Act, then Obama built upon that with Fair Sentencing Act. First Step Act was passed through the House and the strengthened in the Senate by Kamala Harris and Cory Booker; Trump actually regret doing it.

no they weren't "supposed" to get 2.5,.... that's how much they sued for. you can sue anybody for any amount that doesn't mean your going to get it. often times, you sue for a higher amount than what you want.... its negotiations 101. then THEY SETTLED (meaning they said lets forget this lawsuit, we'll take less) for the lesser amount. i think you misunderstand the article. but even more confusing, you argue that obama had little to do with the settlement, but then turn around and blame him for the settlement
