EA killed online passes remember. I think EA is using MS to take the fall for the negative publicity of their means to eat off of used games instead of rapestop.

EA is kinda stuck. They won't ban used games on the PS4, but what will they do with no online pass now to get some money on used games on the PS4?

Showing games at E3 won't change that they are killing the used game market (Gamestop lost), requiring you to be online to play (HUGE), and they admittedly half assed making the console more powerful gaming wise (and you think this is cool?)

So do you think the jump between killzone 3-4 is bigger than 1-2?

Obviously the jump from a SD to HD will be big but to say there is hardly a jump in comparison between the two games is juvenile.

I haven't even seen the game in person but the best quality video I found was a direct feed 1080P of the game. The difference is huge.

Porting is a pain in the ass. I ported a little island game( you just walk around and look at stuff ) from my PC to the Kindle....shyt runs slow as dirt on the Kindle, I'm sure it's because I have grass moving back and forth and I probably need to do some work on the Draw calls. I probably have no more than 200 lines of code. I can only imagine the pain devs have to deal with when the code base is 5 million or so..

Ain't no one trying to hear that here. According to the posters in this thread (Malta) porting happens with a push of a button and a few tweaks of settings. Since they are both x86 architecture it's as easy as pie ...



Of course these are people that have not sat in front of 2 lines of code. Never mind 5 million.
