The internet has you confused. They can bring good gaming while bringing other things it doesnt have to be oh we can skype, that means gaming will suck. The people who make they xbox dont make the games, first and third party companies do, the people making killzone, halo, or games in general have spent zero time developing the new xbox, and like Microsoft has said they are bring 15 exclusives, half which will be new. Microsoft can build the xbox and bring us icing on the cake as you call it while the other companies/studios under them create the games.

A company like microsoft can focus on making the xbox good while making sure they have a lot of good connections with the studios that bring us the games. They have resources to do that


Also by having a kinect with every xbox, it gives devs a lot more options since they know everybody has a kinect

Not confusing it, xbox vision is to bring great gaming along with other things, PS4 is to bring great gaming...contrary to popular belief you can have your cake and eat it too. IF E3 sucks then you can say xbox is not focused on gaming, but you are just assuming because they showed the non-gaming side and are waiting for e3 to show games, that they dont care about gaming, and you know what they say about those who assume....

Right like i said a couple of pages ago show me those AAA exclusive games at E3 and i will look at it differently.

Voice controls, and hand gestures is NOVELTY which is a hindrance to me. fk i look like swinging my arms around and shouting at the tv im not fking 12 years old man!

All this graphics card shyt is irrelevant if devs don't design their games to scale. Which console devs hardly ever do since specs are specs and don't change across generations.

So it all comes down to exclusives and which platform the cross platform devs decide to develop on first and who gets the port.

like it wasn't obvious? biggest advantage PS4 has is EXCLUSIVES always has been like that. i can play cross platform stuff on my PC.

Loyal? I got both systems, I can see why people want a PS4 even tho games haven't been announced for xbox, but im not on the same level as you guys with gaming anymore, I really dont play either system, unless somebody is begging me to play gears or black ops with them.

The most important thing with a game is gameplay, and for a person like me who prefers shooters, you need to play with an xbox controller simple and plain, I used to play black ops 1 on ps3 with my ex, she bought it so I would play with her, but it was not nowhere near as fun on ps3, controlling or community, as it was on xbox. Also, I know people shyt on kinect, but if can be really fun with people if are arent too scared/embaraased to play, let loose. No system has anything like it, I know the eye or whatever, but its not the same. the point to me of video games is to have fun, gameing so far has been funner on xbox simple and plain.

I actually bought my ps3 metal gear solid edition after I got red ringed for the 3rd time, I was ready to give up on xbox. I mean who wouldnt want bluray or free online, but gaming was really boring on PS3 only games I had fun with was LBP(played with my ex, fun to play online with her), uncharted(lost interest at the last boss, never returned to beat it), and killzone was fun for about a month.

I think xbox one will be a funner system, time will tell, but its not like the wii that had fun games with crappy graphics, xbox imo will have funner games with mostly less pretty graphics than the ps4, and im willing to give up a lil in the graphic area, not even sure it will be much if any at this time, for funner games

You think ps is funner with better graphics good for you, but im sure you have some bias, since I see that lil PSN thingy, but we all do. I get it you have to fight for the system you love for whatever reason, thats cool. I dont really care which you guys buy, but im posting here/xbox threads, because people seem to think that just because xbox gave us skype and tv integration that they cant give us good games too. Its just a silly view point imo. Also, regarding all this who has better graphics talk, yes the ps4 has better hardware, but what does that mean when it comes to actual graphical power.

I wonder how much more power the ps4 has over the xbox one, compared to how much more power the ps3 had over the 360. We will see soon enough if the ps4 launch exclusives are graphically better looking than the x1 (e3) If the 360 games are better looking then what does it matter for what is under the hood? if the ps4 looks better then by how much, and is it worth it for some to give up a better controller imo, and kinect integration, so that the shadows 30 feet away from your character can look better. if the ps4 is that much better graphically then I will think about getting one, because I do love nice looking games, but as of now, idk because that ghost game looked like crap on x1 for being next gen, but I am waiting to see first party game.

Its still so much to know, and people have their minds made up that cool, I did too, but I did because of the controller and the kinect, some do because they think that because the x1 has skype that they also cant have good games, and for those looking for the best gaming, already choosing a system before e3 I would say is silly, but x1 DRM crap is a good reason to not look that way, but what if ps4 has some stuff like that too....then what?

This gen it will be exclusives and better multiplatform versions.

I dont even have cable, hardware isnt everything software is very important..its why Android devices can have better hardware than an Iphone, and still lagg while the iphone will have an overall smoother OS, because the software isnt optimized for the hardware.

Microsoft is a the biggest software company in the world. I wouldnt count them out in the optimization department.

The PS3 had better hardware than the xbox, but it took years for their first party games to show it's potential, I dont think they ever got the best out of their chip.

Work smarter not harder is the key, who is going to optimize, and who is going to rely on hardware, and will it matter in the end

Also you seem to be under the impression that better graphics = better gaming, its going to come down to exclusives and we'll see who has better ones at e3

What game on the xbox was the height of 360's potential. Outside of Gears of war i cant think of 1 title. Their flagship brand, Halo, had sub HD graphics.

It wasn't obvious. Not to those in this thread anyway. I had a damn near 4 page argument with the idiot Malta who told me that cross platform games will scale with just a few settings changes and that his superior graphics card will boost non existent graphic assets.
