how are ADOS supposed to be CEO's? with what wealth? Most black businesses is 1 person calling themselves a business (no shade). What's wrong with her statement is that it's not based on reality. This is some shyt you get off a inspirational calendar. "Just go be CEOs", then when you ask how, people get mad and start calling people republicans and white supremacists.

But isn't the whole purpose..the goal...the idea...the fukking agenda for ADOS is to gain some level of wealth with our white counterparts??

CEOs, executives, highly-skilled jobs are in that tier.

Exactly. The in the closet Republic00ns in this thread do not realize that if Republicans got their way and companies were allowed to fully privatize themselves therefore turning up the dial on where capitalism can go. San Francisco is the most liberal city in the world full of tech jobs, but has the lowest black employment in those jobs so WTF are you talking about, the only time you see blacks in the building is if there doing security or janitorial work, then you might get a token black women that works in tech.....cant get no worse then that.

unfortunately we don't live in a society based on merit and potential. In the real world, discrimination happens. In the real world, black people can end up locked out of high ranking positions and locked out of whole industries. We can't operate on delusion. And it's sad that many of you still have this idea in your heads that we're just not trying hard enough. That if black people just change our mindset everything will be okay.

Whole-HEARTEDLY agree...but I think to her point she is saying the issue of pitting blacks against immigrants for manual labor is seen as demeaning because it assumes blacks are the only ones in this country that need those jobs.

I'll tell you how ADOS will absolutely not be CEO's and that is by voting for republicans who are going to:
- defund public education
- make it harder to get federal aid for higher education
- give free reign to for profit universities that target Black students at a higher rate and provide low value degrees at astronomical costs

No and that applies to every race...but generally speaking when talking about obtaining wealth its those positions that are known to have some level of TRUE wealth.

But of course there are doctors, lawyers and even small business owners that have some level of wealth. And while I agree the road to these careers are and success much harder for blacks than whites that doesn't negate that the possibility of being at this level should be disregarded.
