To be honest, he's right. A cheetah is going to be extremely unlikely to kill a grown man. They usually go after much smaller prey. They'd probably just leave you alone, but in a fight to the death in an enclosed space you could probably end up choking it out. You'd take a lot of claw and tooth damage though.

A cougar would be worse. Cougars almost never attack adult men, preferring to go after somewhat smaller targets. But they could kill you if they wanted. It would potentially be an even fight depending on the cougar.

Leopards kill people on the regular. A very good fighter could take a leopard. Most people screwed though.

Lions or tigers? You are toast.

unfortunately i am a trained boxer with lethal power in both hands. i also am a bodybuilder and am 6'1 and about 210 lbs of mostly muscle. i would merely grab hold of the cat and choke it to death. since i am mostly muscle, it's claws would do only superficial damage at best and it wouldn't even be connecting with most of its hits because i am nearly as agile as it is. smaller cats like a cheetah would struggle with a physical specimen like me, but i am rare. it would kill most people easily.

Having pure muscle or 5% body fat doesnt mean shyt in the wild dude,youd be food to any predator with claws and fangs...human body isnt built to handle nature without weaponry...

Trained boxers would be a meal for a leopard,lion or hyena....
