Currently trying to buy a new house in Florida. Prices are double to triple what they were.

I'm bidding against zillow, open door, and a bunch of people moving here from other States.

I'm talking houses being snatched off the market in one day, two days max. Everyone is paying way over the asking price.

The thrifty in me, is telling me this is temporary. But something is telling me this is bigger than we think. This is a wealth transfer!

If you're not making at least 30-40 per hour type money...you're not going qualify for a home loan! You will be a permanent renter.

These HF and investors are buying all these houses, and they're not renting them for $800 anymore like you were able to find just last year. $1200 minimum.

It's going down!

I recently invested in a company that's currently buying a lot of commercial and residential real estate.

Marry a woman worth a damn with savings who doesnt value material things, encourages a small wedding and prioritized a home over something so wasteful as an extravagant wedding. She has her own business.

I work for a software company and invest in our various accounts. We had excess cash not being invested so we bought a beach condo and are making passive income now renting it out. Not to mention it's awesome to get to head over there when it's not being rented out and be right on the beach whenever u want.

Renting it out has been so easy. I feel like if it does the numbers we want it to l, I could easily buy another and create more opportunity. It makes me less stressed at my job too knowing that is there as another income stream.

I never thought I'd settle down at this point in my life, I was doing well for myself before meeting her but its crazy how much can change when you and another work together and pool resources and invest what you both have.

I have a thread I made on here a long time ago happy as hell I made my first 10k and I've just been figuring it out since then

there are properties available in my neighborhood. but most are significantly more than what I paid. we will see if :bryan: folks will get thirst and try to gentrify the neighborhood as we actually have homes for sale.

interest rates are at historic lows. ya'll can take full control of your destiny if you can find a crib and lock in a fixed cost for your housing.
This.

We just refinanced our current house after buying it in 2019 and got such a better rate. Monthly payments looking so much better :obama:

EXACTLY why I didn't get permits to finish our shyt. And I damn sure ain't saying jack until I absolutely have to. I know I'll be over 5 racks if I do.

when I look up my house on the assessor's website, it shows a picture so old where u cannot even see the addition on the 2nd floor which adds 3 BR and 1 BA. so they have me in a 2 BR crib, which is why my taxes are so low. they have gone down by over 50% in the past 6 years I been here.

Banks ain't giving you a $500K+ loan to play with it in the stock market.

exactly. when u get a mortgage, the bank NEVER EVER cuts you a big ass check. that money goes right to the title company to complete the transaction for your property.

BOA ain't giving out 6 figure checks without insuring that the borrower is purchasing a piece of property as collateral.

Seen a couple of Regular homes for rent $1800+ A month,,,,
1700 Square feet


Landscaping will be fukked off, most renters will not take the time with yards , i know i wouldn't,


Seems like everybody has 800+ Credit , A1 jobs and balling these to afford this Expensive shyt

Hopefully this shyt backfire on these fukks trying to force people to rent and jacking up rent prices

Maybe I'm being short-sighted but this is where I work during the HVAC season from March to Sept and semi-living overseas. I'm not gonna kill myself to find a place to live in this country.

It really is. Mine stay in target and away from Gucci Prada etc. I have to force her to go into those stores kicking and screaming and then she finds something she wants and tries to hit me with the :usure: after I give her the :youngsabo:

she wasn’t educated but we had a plan once I got out she gets in, she finishes her masters in August and that’s when the bucks start really rolling in as it should put out combined income just north of $300k on a 50/50 split mine and hers. Even a 60/40 puts us in high $200’s. If you’re making that much here in Texas you’re considered rich.
