I can see that especially wit these Abortion,Gun Control,Voting etc Bills being passed and more people moving around to different states
That.
Plus where the GOP and Dems have started to fall( Dems are starting to own the coast minus SC and Florida).

Gerrymandering only works if you are in the majority to protect your majority. As more people move to Texas and Georgia, the Republicans won’t be able to use gerrymandering as those states become blue and deep red states lose seats.

Texas is the breaking point. GOP can’t win without it and don’t want it to be competitive.

Brother, I have white family members. Most live in the south. They are "regular people" but they are ready to take up arms against evil heathen liberals at a moments notice. Ready to shoot liberals, illegal immigrants, BLM, and the enemies of Trump. They talk about it all the time. They are easily misled and riled up. Those are the same people who were there on 1/6. They are not rare.

Without forceable suppression and dictatorship, it falls short of fascism, imo. With much of what you listed being nothing more than Trump idiocy.
I don’t believe he will ever see the Oval Office again.
Nor do I believe his movement is going to takeover and usher in a fascist regime…
… and if I’m honest I feel bad for anyone who thinks it is.
Forcible suppression and dictatorship was attempted. Trump just sucked at it.

What is your point? “Fascists are only fascists if they win?”

I’m not convinced of this at all, and dont believe we see Trump in 2024:yeshrug:

I’m predicting ol boy in Florida to be the guy.

Which guy in Florida? Matt Gaetz, who is Trump's buddy or Ron DeSantis, who ran on I love Trump?

You think we are doing it callously, came to this conclusion on our own, or were fed this? Personally, I saw how easy it was for white (and other racial c00ns) gen z and millennials to become hardcore racist white nationalists and purposely historically ignorant. I saw this in a number of ugly places online and in person over 16 years. Educated kids, sad kids, rich, poor. I was stunned because I was told an opposite narrative, and yet I saw an increase in neo-nazi and far-right behavior, not less.

These people are desperate to uphold their system and would flirt if not adopt whatever system to keep it that way.

If Biden said he is going to do Reparations for black people today, these people would lose their minds way worse than we had with Trump.
This is something i believe they’d do under any system.
Socialist, fascist, capitalist etc., racist who hate blacks, all hate blacks. I dont attribute the racism/bigotry to any ism/set of beliefs other than hate.

I’ve yet to see term limits overstepped, and political opposition in both government and the media, violently suppressed. What I’ve seen is populism...
MAGA leaders(such as Trump) claim to speak for everyday men and women against corrupt, debased, and out-of-touch elites. They are certainly antiliberal:lolbron:but they are not antidemocratic.
This is important IMO.
If today’s conservatives come to power—even the right-wing nationalists among them the continued existence of democracy will allow for a do-over by later voting them out.

Removal of this(or movement towards) would signal fascism IMO.

Saying I won the election over and over and then asking your shyt and leaving isn’t what i call an attempt at dictatorship, but ok:hubie:
He tried everything within his power to stay in office. He tried to pressure states to overturn election results. He made up a big lie about the election being stolen and he encouraged an attempted insurrection.

He made phone calls(we all heard) desperately trying to secure a second term(within term limits) and was shyt on by state leaders, and sent packing.:mjlol:
I’m beginning to think the liberal definition(being used in this thread) of fascism is the issue.

What separates right-wing populism from fascism in your opinion?

:hubie:For clarity, I’m defining terms as:
Fascism (/ˈfæʃɪzəm/) is a form of far-right, authoritarian ultranationalism characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition, and strong regimentation of society and of the economy, which came to prominence in early 20th-century Europe.

Right-wing populism, also called national populism and right-wing nationalism, is a political ideology which combines right-wing politics and populist rhetoric and themes. The rhetoric often consists of anti-elitist and anti-intellectual sentiments, opposition to the Establishment, and speaking to the "common people".".

Judging from what I saw after i interviewed Caryma Sa'd and she captured footage from the white lives matter rally in toronto, and the stupid signs i see out here in Sudbury cacs complaining "CANADA IS BROKE, END THE LOCKDOWN" from a literal million dollar home. smh.

Or that Trudeau is a traitor and turning the country communist. Or their stupid "Great Reset" lies. Its fukking weird, but Canada has a lot of scum. If not outright and direct, they hide behind the "polite Canadian" bs.

Trump is by definition a fascist because he believes in and desires and tried to make that definition you posted come true.

He’s just a failed fascist. All you’re going to do is just kept downplaying his attempts to implement fascism because they didn’t work.
