America is barely over 200 years old. Every empire has dramatic downturns that aren’t fascism.

People have just been feed Nazism for so long that it’s a clear point of reference. Fascism usually goes along with military aggression outside its borders which is the exact opposite of what Trumpism is.

Honestly we are closer to a break up of the fifty states than authoritarianism.

Yet there are two political parties in this country, one of which happens to represent that open 25% as well as the quiet % who is too ashamed or embarrassed to admit their political association. That very party is actively breaking and impeding the standard democratic practice.

You all keep bringing up Trump but he's a lonely old man with mounting legal issues - this isn't about him. This is about the party he represents current behavior and the ramifications of that behavior.
Like i said populism...

...fascism is usually rooted in populism, but starting with populism doesn’t inevitably mean you’ll wind up with fascism.
I believe you gentlemen are jumping the gun in attempt to scare people into supporting/buying into your narrative... whatever that may be.

That comparison(as always) is a reach...

If our system was in shambles they way Germany was, or if Trump(or any MAGA politician) was a quarter the orator Hitler was, we’d be in trouble. Alas, he’s busy dodging court cases, and a tax bill, while Dems control congress and the Oval Office.*cheers*
THe point that is important that you are missing is that the fascists have infiltrated US government. This isn't about Trump, its about whats currently happening.

You think we are doing it callously, came to this conclusion on our own, or were fed this? Personally, I saw how easy it was for white (and other racial c00ns) gen z and millennials to become hardcore racist white nationalists and purposely historically ignorant. I saw this in a number of ugly places online and in person over 16 years. Educated kids, sad kids, rich, poor. I was stunned because I was told an opposite narrative, and yet I saw an increase in neo-nazi and far-right behavior, not less.

These people are desperate to uphold their system and would flirt if not adopt whatever system to keep it that way.

If Biden said he is going to do Reparations for black people today, these people would lose their minds way worse than we had with Trump.

He was comparing Nazis and Hitler to Trump and his supporters and said America is on a similar path as Nazi Germany. That's not fear mongering about Trump/Trump supporters in the future? I disagree.

Clearly fear mongering about them in the past.

This is why you should watch the entire video. He compared what lead to Nazism in Germany versus whats going on in the US. Trump was mentioned, but he talked about many other things like acts of violence, the distrust of government, etc.

This is 100 spot on. Even here in Canada we have a lot of white people basically begging for Facism as a ruling system.

Judging from what I saw after i interviewed Caryma Sa'd and she captured footage from the white lives matter rally in toronto, and the stupid signs i see out here in Sudbury cacs complaining "CANADA IS BROKE, END THE LOCKDOWN" from a literal million dollar home. smh.

I didn't want too watch the whole video.
When you mention Trump directly after talking about America turning into Nazi Germany and Hitler's history and how he was in jail and Trump is in Facebook jail. The analogy is made. :yeshrug:
