Bron Stans saying this but then turn around and criticize other black players
* It's okay to criticize any black player you want, including Lebron.
* A lot of hate of Lebron is driven by racial issues.
Both of those things can be true at the same time.
I've never once accused anyone on this forum of being racist for hating Bron. But there are DEFINITELY racists out there who hate Bron for it, and it seems to drive more of the anti-Bron hate than any other player. He's the definitely of the "uppity" Negro who grows too big and demands more self-autonomy than his White "owners" want to give him, and if you believe much of White America is racist at all then you can't fool yourself at how poorly that would go over with them. Then you add in him getting outspoken on race issues the last 7-8 years, and it was a rap. Plus he's been successful which only makes them madder.
I already dropped these receipts, and that was before he even got outspoken on racial stuff:

Why Do White People Still Dislike LeBron James?
* After "The Decision", 65% of Black America still viewed Lebron favorably, but only 32% of White America did.
* After the 2013 championship, 23% of Black America considered Lebron their favorite player, but only 9% of White America did.
* For non-Black fans, Lebron's positive Q-rating at that point was 10% and his negative Q-rating was 44%.
* For Black fans, Lebron's postive Q-rating at that point was 39% and his negative Q-rating was only 15%.
Those are
huge decrepancies. You don't see descrepancies like that for MJ, or Steph, or Magic. The only player who might have had something similar was Kobe after the rape case, but by the second run he won over the white fans again and was the most popular player in White America. Whereas even after his titles, Bron was still hated in White America, and then what he started doing regarding police violence, racism in sports, endorsing democrats, etc. just keeps making them madder.
